Steelers @ 49ers Game Thread

Terrible.

A play is complete with around 30 seconds left. You can:

a. call a timeout

b. kill the clock

c. waste 20 seconds and then throw a short pass for -2 yards

I'll take C please. :bag:

This is like fifth-hand information, but a friend of mine says that this may not be such an "accident", given Roethlisberger's ankle. Just tossing it out there. Having heard a lot of accounts about Harbaugh from behind-the-scenes, I wouldn't be too surprised. Guy will play any angle he can.
no chance
Just passing along what I heard. I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that it happened to go right before game-time.
It's not impossible
If Harbaugh rigged a Transformer to explode he just became legendary
wiling to put money on occupy protesters shutting down the lights

Harbaugh conspiracy theory gaining momentum.
Everyone knows that Peter Angelos orchestrated a power failure at Camden Yard to preserve Ripken's streak when a marital issue was going to keep Cal from playing. Angelos passed the info on how to do that along to Baltimore coach John Harbaugh. Who held on to the secret until he needed it most -- tonight, when he had to have SF beat the Steelers, and then he shared it with his brother Jim.Obviously.

SF got hosed on a bogus chop block call vs. the Ravens too. If I'm Pittsburgh, not sure I call a timeout there -- SF will pin them deep with the punt and then might force a turnover and/or get the ball back in good field position
technically it was the right call on rachal in that game. rachal was just too stupid and pushed the guy down when he was taken down by gore already

oh and I don't really see how the outage benefits the 49ers. Steelers D was on the field most of the first half.

Ben has shown extremely limited mobility, erratic accuracy, and forced a couple of bad balls for INTs. Steelers fans, now you know what it's like to have Joe Flacco as your QB
:lmao:Gotta like a fan that can make fun of his own guy like this.

I'd make fun of Alex Smith now...but I'm not too sure whether I'd want to laugh or cry while doing that. those overthrows were so bad while otherwise he played relatively decent

That one missed pass in the end zone was pretty bad. That dude was wide open.

Sutcliffe .Mexican ?

67-yard net on that punt. That is the kind of hidden yardage that changes a game - the average net is around 40 yards, which would have had Pittsburgh at midfield
