**Steelers at Bengals** (+2.5, 35.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Burrowless Bengals face the punchless Pittsburghers.
I think it gous under...

Steel City- 16
Queen City- 13

I don't even know who the Bengals' QB will be this week. Doesn't matter. Whatever the final, Steelers lose by 6 or less.

Backup QBs have been their Kryptonite for as long as anyone can remember, including when they were actually good. Being lousy isn't likely to change that overmuch. Same coach/philosophy. Tomlin's teams loooove "playing down" to the competition.

I expect a bump on offense with a new coordinator. The Steelers O will show some life and the Bengals won't be able to do it without Burrow: Black and Gold win 23-13.

I think both ground games will do well. The QB's will play around the same, and one of the PK's will miss a kick of 45 yds or less, making the difference.

PIT 20
CIN 17

Yes, McPherson will miss one.

Look Out! The new look Steelers offense debuts today. It will be so explosive they may come close to the Mendoza line in total yards.

Who am I kidding? Steelers will likely struggle to get 150 but I’m the eternal Steelers optimist.

Intrigued to see what Browning does with his long-awaited opportunity. Decent enough college career but the knock that has put him into journeyman world is arm strength. 11 days since the Baltimore game so he got good dose of time with the ones so unlike vs Baltimore I don't think it will be all Trenton Irwin all the time (like when most backup QBs come in it seems the down the roster WRs benefit early on as they have the time in working in practice).

Bengals at least say they plan the usual playbook. Hopefully he can execute well enough.

The other big question is what happens with Pickett - does he challenge the middle at all now or stick to the sidelines as he has been? Or do the Steelers just run wishbone all day given the Bengals run defense struggles?

My take is that with the Bengals injuries/horrible secondary, Kenny Pickett will put together his best game of the season. This will give all the Pitt Panther fans (pretty much the only KP supporters left) reason for optimism. Next week, and for the rest of the season, he will come crashing to earth faster than the Hindenburg.

Rainy, cold, some wind. Under 36.5 seems as sure as sure gets.
Will probably be 4 defensive TDs. Heck, it may still go under if that happens. I'm going under.

Announcer: Browning came into team meetings confident like he could do this.

Me: Opposed to what? Walking in and screaming game over guys.
