Steelers at Browns (1 Viewer)

jerome simpson was a better start than mike wallace today. and o.j. simpson was an equally good start as mike wallace today.

boy, is there anything uglier to watch than a moderately good team that plays such stupid, poor football (except on defense) for two weeks in a row. absoutely pitiful coaching, special teams, blocking, you name it. another wasted defensive performance. how is mike tomlin not now, not ever on the hot seat?

You have to be kidding, right?

what, you don't think that was an ugly performance? or that the defense played well? or that the team is undisciplined (again) and that the coach is responsible for disciplining his team?

The only thing I blame Tomlin for right now is the decision to keep Batch over a younger player.

No, I think it's ridiculous to suggest that a coach with a 66-32 record, two Super Bowl appearances and a ring should be on the hot seat because his team dropped to 6-5 while playing with their 3rd string QB. I bet you were one of the guys that wanted Cohwer fired when he had a bad season too.

that is exactly the free pass tomlin has enjoyed since coming here. you are correct that i should not have used the language "hot seat" when what i meant to say was that he needs to shoulder a lot of the blame. no, i don't think his job should be in jeopardy. but this team has played undisciplined football ever since cowher left. i'm not saying that tomlin or in his day cowher should be fired, but they need to be held accountable.congrats on the win--some good hard hitting by the browns defenders.

Losing to the Ravens and Browns in back-to-back weeks is bad enough, but playing like #### in both games is ridiculous. Horrible penalties, horrible turnovers, horrible special teams, horrible result.

And Mike Wallace sucks... he has zero heart... good luck to the team that overpays for that jerk-### in the off season.

:goodposting: Aside from the handling of the RBs I don't have too much criticism of Tomlin. The Steelers came into the game with one arm tied behind their back and then lose 2 offensive lineman and LaMarr Woodley during the game and turn the ball over 8 times. You are asking a hell of a lot from a coach to overcome that.

You couldnt be more spot on about Wallace. This piece of crap is proving why they didnt give him a big contract. His lazy no heart act has been getting worse by the week. Hopefully he takes Mendensuck with him.
