Steelers Belong! (1 Viewer)

With that incredible 3-0 victory against a powerful Miami team, my Steelers proved once again that they are, with NE, Indy, Green Bay, and Dallas (all of which they would easily defeat) one of the best teams in the NFL. In case you missed what was an awesome effort, particularly on offense, be aware that Pittsburgh is THE team to be reckoned with this year. I see no difficult games left on the schedule.

See you in Arizona!

There is no way you can really be a Steelers fan. You constantly put down the team, and have no pride. You are predictable even in starting a thread like this. That field would have been difficult for any football team to do anything on. Grow up, and please stop calling yourself a Steelers fan.

I am a Steeler fan, just one with a sense of humor, which apparently you lack. Weather conditions did not create the holes in the offensive line, the numerous holding penalties, the sacks on Big Ben. Are you actually proud of that win?

No one would be happier than me if Pittsburgh pulls out of this funk and becomes a dominant team again. But does being a fan mean that I need to wear blinders? This team is way overrated, and deserves to be criticized. When they deserve praise again, I'll give it to them.

People might see the humor in your post if it was actually funny.

I have to agree. The Steelers offensive line and Roethlisberger holding on to the ball too long are problems. Roethlisberger gets hit more times in one game then Brady has all season. Unless the offensive line improves I wouldn't consider the Steelers a serious contender.

See, now that's criticism I don't mind. I thought it was funny, but other people might not... but it hurts to be accused of being a "fake" Steeler fan...

there's nothing at all wrong about having 2 teams. youve got both sides of the country covered, both ends of the rankings sort of covered, and definitely have all US time zones covered. but youre still not getting that draft pick back.

I will give them this, though in all seriousness: when the Steelers drafted Daniel Sepulveda, I knew that it might make a difference in at least one or two games this year. Tonight, he was the MVP and the reason the Steelers won.

The Steelers have their weaknesses but I have no problem winning 3-0 on that friggin' sponge they were playing on last night.

A win is a win and I'll take it -- it was a thing of beauty...

When your QB goes 18/21, you start on the other side of the 50 more times then not, and you can only get into the redzone once and muster a grand 3 pts... no matter how horrible the field was, thats nothing to be proud of against a team like the Dolphins.

There are no points for style in the NFL. You take the "W" this week and move on...

I don't know why it took me this long to realize this, but:timschochet = BGP
Who is BGP? I thought timschochet was a 49ers fan? I do believe he is a closet Patriots fan the way nearly every thread somehow references NE.
legendary browns fan, steelers basher, uber-conservative, and pats bandwagon jumper. ask evilgrin, godsbrother, or any of the steelers crew.
