Steelers/Eagles TONIGHT (1 Viewer)

Guys that I have no clue how to rank:Barber, Westbrook, Staley, Brown, K Jones, T JonesAny of them could blow up. I am pretty sure I'll be able to get one of them as my #3 RB. I just need to figure out which one.
If we're playing "which one of these RBs doesn't belong?" then I gotta point out Barber.
CBrown first ....Staley or KJones or TJones Next ... Westbrook .... Tiki.IMO
Of those guys, I have Thomas Jones ahead. Easily.Westbrook, Duce a little behind him.Chris Brown a little behind them, followed closely by Kevin Jones.

Looks like Vincent is filling in just fine ... where did this 0-line come from?
It's the line that was supposed to be there last year... minus Kendall Simmons.Amazing what a healthy left tackle, Faneca at LG, and a healthy center can do, huh?

Who in the world is Jerome Kearse? Maybe Pat can answer this.

This game is shaping up well for Duce Staley owners. As for TO, if the preseason is anything to go on, there's no way he's going to get near 100 receptions in this offense, which is what he would need to do to justify his current ADP.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. No one has them in the same order. I can't take T Jones though. He sucks. I just left him in there because people are high on him.

Is anyone else downgrading McNabb based on his hair in the pre-game segment with Terrell Owens?Steeler offense looks sharp against the Eagles starters. If the secondary holds up and we can avoid any more injuries on the offensive line, there is NO reason why we can't take the AFC North this year.

Eagles = dropsies. No Westbrook is trouble for this offense...if he gets hurt this year, its trouble. LJ Smith looks solid though.

What the f--k is McNabb thinking with that hair? Did he walk into the barbershop and proclaim : "Give me the 'Gorilla ### ' please !!!"He looks like one of those troll dolls....... just brutal.I also love how TO claims the media misconstrues everything he says. "If it looks like a rat, and smells like a rat....."What exactly was misconstrued?

Eventually people will start catching onto the fact that if the OL gives Maddox time, Burress will be the same guy he was in 2002. He's had a tremendous camp and preseason.
I am not a big Plaxico fan but I have to admit he appears to have a different approach this year. You can see that he's put on some muscle and appears to be in great shape. He's climbing on my draft board.Wouldn't have anything to do with this being the last year of his contract would it?

Everyone needs to shut the hell up. I am lying in the weeds for Plax in Round 7. STEAL !!! :D

The struggle is, do you take him if you already have Hines Ward?? :wall:

I think you can if he represents value. If the line holds up and Maddox has time to throw, there's plenty to go around for both Ward and Burress. Two years ago, they were both top 12 receivers in the same season, so why the hell not?

Yes. Attending off-season conditioning sessions and mini-camps is highly over-rated.

They're playing Journey....good God.Wait, Theismann just gave an enthusiastic endorsement of Journey, and in particular, Steve Perry's voice. I will now light myself on fire.

He said he was in FL working out with Ed Reed, Edge, etc. From the looks of things I have to believe him.

How in the world would the 6th all-time leading rusher not get in the HOF? Maguire is an idiot. :loco:

Observations:1.McNabb=Samson, bigger hair -> stronger arm2.Duce= Quality individual, tough runner, thanks for the taste because now somebody else will draft you too early.3.TO= how long will the new attitude last?4.Suzie=lispy, i want to hear her interview Joan Cusack5.Field=value all over both the rest of these teams where they are being drafted6.Manning's band= i doubt this nerds offense take crap from him, much less a bunch of random pro-bowlers

My wife, who rarely watches the Steelers at all, noticed right away tonight that Plaxico Burress looks bigger and stronger now than he has in the past. I loved how Roethlisberger threw it up for him on a long pass to the end-zone to let him make a play... I wish Tommy would do that more often, especially if he's built up his upper body. That interview with Bettis really PISSED me off. No Jerome, they DON'T need to find a way to get you the ball. If it were up to me, they'd cut you and keep Haynes and Brown. They can get the job done just as well if not better. That's not to belittle what he's accomplished, but it's painfully obvious that he just doesn't have it anymore.

Plax does look bigger and if he stays on next year I think Ben will be targeting him alot if tonight is a sign of anything.

Willie Parker has looked really good so far. How did 32 teams not draft him?

I can't see the game, but just watching it on NFL.com. McCoo looked like he had a few nice runs a series or two ago. Anyone see what he looks like?

Unfortunately I see almost no chance of that happening. I'd LOVE for them to keep Plaxico, but they'll re-work Ward's contract and probably let Burress walk.If he has a bad year, the Steelers won't want him. If he has a good year, some other team will throw a huge contract at him that the Steelers won't match. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they find a way to keep him though... and my toes.

What does everyone think of Thomas Tapeh?
 Not sure, got his yards against the 1st team then got stuffed against the second. Neither one of these guys looked like a goalline back. My goalline money is on Donovan to TO and LJ.

So far, LJ looks like his hands have improved...that was his knock last year. He's got great speed and agility vs the LB's that try to cover him. Not saying he's the next Gonzo, not by a long shot. He's going to be very good though.

Agree - he should be in the "perfect draft" as "after round 7" Round 6 = 1 round too soon for him (he went in the mid-6th in the staff mock we just did).

but what if he turns in a top 10 performance this season? Wouldn't that be worth the 6th rounder you burned on him?
