Steelers = Fraud of 2007 Season.... (1 Viewer)

Um, no. They barely lost to Jacksonville, who are probably the #3 team in the NFL right now. But they still would probably have beat any team this weekend except the one they had to.

This isn't difficult to comprehend. Let's say Jacksonville loses by 1 point in the last minute to New England. New England then wins the rest of their games by 14 points. Would it be incomprehensible to consider Jacksonville the 2nd best team in the NFL? San Diego did not play especially well against Tennessee, I have little doubt, although it's just conjecture, that Pittsburgh would have beat them this weekend. Seattle played fairly well, but I do not believe well enough to beat a better team than Washington. The Giants are the only team that arguably played well enough this weekend to beat either Jacksonville or Pittsburgh, but we'll see what happens when they play a better team next week.
The Steelers, Jags and Chargers are all better than any of the teams from the NFC that played this past weekend.
I think you're right, but the Giants played a well executed game. Eli was remarkably efficient and they didn't turn the ball over. The Defense played fairly well too. I'm trying to be as complete as possible with my statements here.

Although I agree the AFC is better than the NFC as a whole I think you have to group the Giants and Seattle into the same group as Jax, Pitts and SD at this point. As of right now...1) a) NEb) Indy2) Everyone else left in the playoffs. And at this point NE and Indy or definitely not invincible. The Giants with nothing to play for took the 16 and 0 Patriots to the brink of their first loss. Then for an encore they beat TB quite handily on the road.
