objection, unsubstantiated speculationHe was killed because he told the whole truth about the NFL. Its that a huge number of all NFL players take steroids and the coaches, owners and NFL execs know it. They test but the testing is just a dance they do for the public to make it look like they care. They really don't care and they really do want the players to do the steroids because it makes the game that much more exciting and they make that much more money. The NFL has become the same as Bodybuilding. You cannot compete without steroids. Plain and simple.I don't guess this is news to anybody.

I'll check it out later, but you're beeing ridiculous if you think the NFL (or players) had anything to do with this. Who is the biggest loser when this guy goes and start testifying/talking? It's his source. Who's supplying this guy with 1000's of unit / month of steroids and hormones? That's millions of $$ of business. And he's ONE of their distributors. Ballpark it, and I'm guessing whoever was driving his business is on the order of couple hundred million $$$ annually. Is that worth knocking someone off? As far as criminal organizations go, I think that's a no-brainer.But, don't let me shoot you off your soapbox with simple logic man. Keep up the fight!! :bumps chest:Ok. Bash me all you want. But I think this video speaks volumes.

I'm not taking sides here but the NFL could be the biggest loser. lol about the objection----the guy with the long rant is actually hitting the nail on the head. there are tons of highschool players that take steroids, even more college athletes, and i would say 40% of pros take some kind of pro-hormone or steroid. if you dont believe this is the case, do you believe that the human body has evolved in under lets say 50 years, to produce the athletes we see today? nooooooooooo sir. steroids and HGH make you bigger, faster, stronger. its a proven fact. why are so many running backs and players having ACL/tendon issues in todays sports? steroids grow and multiply the muscle, but leave the tendon the same size, which causes more stress on the tendons. HGH on the other hand grows EVERYTHING. foreheads, feet, tendons, and its actually a safer method with LESS side effects. but HGH is much harder to get than steroids, simply because its much harder to produce. half of pro players take sterioids, and the other half THINK about taking steroids. someone said something about body building, and its right, everyone in pro body building eventually takes them, your body can only get so big naturally. think about it... if you were a college athlete and had the chance to make millions of dollars, and taking some juice would improve your game by making you bigger, much faster, and stronger ... thats pretty good incentives to take them. dont get me wrong i dont condone it, i just speak the truth.objection, unsubstantiated speculationourmanflint said:He was killed because he told the whole truth about the NFL. I think the objection is because it's a little early to think the NFL or players implicated by him put out a hit, when the most likely culprit is someone related directly to his drug trade. Considering he said as much the last month I think you can wait to assume Goodell or the councel of owners did it till you see the bill for the hitman come out of Jerry Jones' credit card.Obviously steroids are being used across the boards, in professional sports and for personal use. However, you can't chalk up all the advances in sports over the last several decades to steroids and substances alone, because there have been major changes that factor into all forms of sports... we're talking medical knowledge, diet, media. The advances the world has seen since the sixties have been phenomenal.lol about the objection----the guy with the long rant is actually hitting the nail on the head. there are tons of highschool players that take steroids, even more college athletes, and i would say 40% of pros take some kind of pro-hormone or steroid. if you dont believe this is the case, do you believe that the human body has evolved in under lets say 50 years, to produce the athletes we see today? nooooooooooo sir. steroids and HGH make you bigger, faster, stronger. its a proven fact. why are so many running backs and players having ACL/tendon issues in todays sports? steroids grow and multiply the muscle, but leave the tendon the same size, which causes more stress on the tendons. Yeah, he's gonna need to meet up with the hot chick from Out of Sight. Federal Witness Protection, off you go!Nick Kazcur - you should take note and watch your back.
i actually agree. although he did bring to light something that i think many people may choose to overlook. its easy to dismiss baseball because very few of the players look like they (necessarily) do any sort of steroids. but with football and pretty much 50% of all players looking like they could step on the stage at mr olympia any weekend, you have to face reality. you cannot compete in the NFL unless you are on a pretty solid regimen of steroids. i could believe that there are a few natural ball players out there, and QB's (excluding Brady Quinn) probably by and large are not "on".i honestly don't blame them one bit. they have so much to gain and they pretty much have the blessing of their team and the league.there are many people here that stood to be exposed by this guy but i don't think you can discount the possibility that some over-ambitious jerk working for a multi-billion dollar organization might do what he thinks is necessary to protect the mint. although i guess in the end, the NFL might be able to survive a steroid scandal, you have to admit that this guy was flying pretty much under the radar. really how much have you seen in the mainstream media about this guy? i don't think its been that much. nothing like balco. maybe i'm wrong.Just caught on the news that he said in a recent interview that he had been receiving death threats. He also mentioned police depts. being involved with steroids. Can hardly narrow it down to one suspect at this point.

:( He was producing as well as distributing. Isn't he his own supplier?oh its, its no doubt that his supplier was the one that put the HIT out on him... it wasnt a player, or the nfl, it was his supplier.

Jacobs seemed like a real nice, intelligent, and thoughtful guy. It's terrible that he and his girl were murdered.
yea...i think i pretty much can...again i don't dispute that there are...say 20-30% of the players that are not taking them...some guys could get by without them if they have enough natural talent and strength. but you are simply being naive to think that most are not on. have you taken steroids? do you know how easy they are to get? to mask? do you know what they can do for you and in how short a time they can work? do you know what an incredibly unfair advantage they give someone? everybody in the NFL has talent. these guys are the best of the best. if 50% of the players are using steroids, that 50% will dominate the other 50%. what do you think the other 50% have to do? lose their job? quit? there are millions on the line for each player. 10's of millions, even 100's of millions for each team. billions for the league as a whole.Seriously...this bolded part is huge speculation. again I honestly don't see steroids as the devil. i have taken them myself and i think they can be an awesome asset when properly administered and when all precautions are taken. but the problem is that they are a drug. they can be addictive and can be incredibly destructive when abused. some people just cannot take them in moderation (like any drug). young athletes cannot take them as taking them before the age of 21 stunts natural growth and development.

I think YOU need to watch and read it a bit more closely. He's BUYING powder and HGH from suppliers in China. He's mixing a nice steroid cocktail in his "kitchen". Then he's delivering those goods to a ready-made distribution chain of people he knows. You think his suppliers are messing around? You think they might mind...just a bit...that this guy has turned and will start giving details about shipments, locations, names, right up the chain?? This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the NFL. This guy is tied into some serious overseas illegal businesses. And it cost him; everything. If you'd watch the video, then you'd realize that it's you who's jumping to the wrong conclusions. The bolded is my favorite attempt at a retort when someone is asked to back up their claims.Look...you made a claim...then made the claim that there were so many people out there...it should then be easy for you to back up your claim with something other than a link to a book written 10 years ago.you might start by reading tim green's book

David Jacobs' death ruled suicide
01:26 PM CDT on Friday, June 6, 2008
WFAA-TV Staff
PLANO — Thursday's death of convicted steroids dealer David Jacobs has been ruled a suicide by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy showed there were two self-inflicted gunshot wounds — one to the abdomen, the other to the head.
There is still no official cause of death for the woman who was found dead alongside Jacobs, Amanda Jo Earhart-Savell, 30. The bodies were found in Jacobs' Plano home on Thursday.
Plano police Officer Andrae Smith said it may take several days before they know exactly what happened to Earhart-Savell, but can't assume that it was a homicide.
Jacobs, 35, admitted selling steroids to professional football players. He recently met with NFL investigators and gave them names.
Who's to say it actually looked like a suicide at all. "gunshot wound to the abdomen."I guess the NFL made it look like a suicide right?

Chalk one up for the conspiracy. No one would ever commit suicide by shooting themselves in the stomach, followed by a bullet to the head. If the killers had wanted to, they could make it look more like suicide, but they way they did it suits their purpose, because 90% of the people are so gullible they believe anything they read, and the other 10% get the message loud and clear, that if you snitch on the wrong people, you and your loved ones will be killed, and the police will call it a suicide.Who's to say it actually looked like a suicide at all. PLANO — Thursday's death of convicted steroids dealer David Jacobs has been ruled a suicide by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy showed there were two self-inflicted gunshot wounds — one to the abdomen, the other to the head.

I think it's also worth bringing up that several of his clients were police officers which makes this story even more fishy.Chalk one up for the conspiracy. Um, that seems awful quick. Doesn't take long to lift up a rug and sweep something under it I guess. BTW, does Plano TX still have the highest per-capita heroin use rate for US small cities?
AndyUm, that seems awful quick. Doesn't take long to lift up a rug and sweep something under it I guess. What's "quick" is how some people prefer to jump to conclusions. The "preliminary" medical examiner's report indicated suicide.
As I reported earlier in this thread, the C.S.I. team was still at the house at 3pm CT on Friday. Hardly seems reasonable if it was cut-and-dry, eh?

Still? Can you provide a link stating it ever was?

Piano, Texas? Never heard of it. Must be big in "ivory tusk" smuggling. But seriously, Plano is known for being the "well-to-do" part of the Dallas metroplex. Too many celebrities to list who live in this area.A quick google "Piano Texas" "heroin" search shows something called...
Texas Heroin Massacre

and several other things about heroin problems in Texas. Just anecdotal, but figured I would post it.
