Kevin Ellison could see some base defensive snaps, but I think Gregory gets all the nickel snaps (he was with Hart playing) and some base snaps, too. Dynasty guys should be watching Ellison closely. If he improves in coverage and can get into some nickel packages, he's got nice 2010 upside.

Had an extra bench spot and decided to take a stab with Ellison this week. Stat line is 6 solos and an assist, most tackles in the SD D. Moved up fast when I recognised him in the play. How did he actually play overall? Let much over him?

Tony Scheffler stole his lunch money.That being said, Ellison was on the field A LOT for that to happen. I think we know have a modification to Norton's rookie CB rule ... we have a rookie SS who will be in the box AND getting burnt by solid TEs.

I can't disagree with the description of his play but did he play the whole game. I thought I saw Gregory in there in the 1st Q. I do think he is gold though....
