anyone starting Steve Smith with confidence if Hixon is out? SSmith scored against DAL early this year, and we all know what he did last year in the playoffs against Dallas.

With Jacobs ruled out, and basically this is a must-win for DAL, I dont think this game would fall in the hands of Ward, and more it would be on Eli Manning.

SSmith has only had 5-6 targets the last few weeks. Anyone see him getting 8-9 targets this week with Eli possibly throwing from 35-38 pas attempts?

Thinking of starting him as well. Take away Burress and at best a limited Hixon plus Jacobs, figure there has to be some trickle-down to additional Smith production. If Moss can't get open as well ase ither Burress or now Hixon on the outside, checking down to Smith in the slot might happen a lot.

I have Barber penciled in at my flex and needed some insurance in the late game in case he happens to be in active. That insurance is Steve Smith. I had Kevin Curtis, but before last nights game (waivers freeze) I had to take the healthy option.

Cowboys have some depth issues in the secondary which should benefit Smith since he'll go against the weak nickel back

I thinking of grabbing Smith, but our bench is only 5 players. I'm actually thinking of dropping Coles. He's been a terd and I don't trust him enough to start. Only 2 weeks left anyway. Hixon is a GTD. I'll probably pick Smith up and leave Curtis in until we know for sure. Sounds like Curtis will play.

Toomer is money in the bank this week,IMO..Smith should do well, but Toomer is the #1 guy
