What's Steve Smith's contract status?

Is he an UFA next year?

I'm trying to gauge Manningham's potential for a dynasty league. If Smith is a free agent and Manningham isn't, he could be a nice WR#2 next year.

per Rotoworld again:

Contract Information for Mario Manningham

7/15/2008: Signed a four-year, $2.322 million contract. The deal included a $617,000 signing bonus. Escalators are available in the final year. 2009: $385,000, 2010: $470,000, 2011: $555,000, 2012: Free Agent

I'd love to keep him but I don't see the Giants shelling out the kind of money he's probably going to ask for. He's just coming out his rookie contract and is probably going to want to cash in. I think he deserves it but with the emergence of Nicks, Manningham, etc... it's definitely a long shot to think he's going to be a Giant next season. I'd love to keep him because he's a very solid player but he's probably not the best option economically.

 I think as long as Manningham continues to show he is a solid number 2 they will have no problem letting Smith walk.
