Steven Jackson and Torry Holt (2 Viewers)

Scott Linehan echoes the point I made earlier in this thread that you can't just give up if Holt is being doubled. You have to figure out a way to beat the double teams and get him the ball.

From RotoWorld:

Rams coach Scott Linehan said the team needs to find ways to get the ball in Torry Holt's hands even when he's double-teamed.

"You can't just say, 'Well he's dealt with, he's out of the game,"' Linehan said. "You've got to be creative." Holt isn't getting much help on the other side, but his track record indicates that he'll get his numbers regardless.

Is now the time to buy low on Steven Jackson?

He has had 2 bad weeks but has played against 2 above average defenses

Last year people were still worried somewhat about Bruce, even though he was on the decline. Now he's gone and so is Bennett. Not much left to worry about other than Holt.

I think Holt will be "OK" (did actually put up good PPR #s yesterday) but would hope for better WR2 options.

I'm thinking of trying to buy Jackson cheap at this point...should I be though?
I would buy if you can get a good deal - he had a slow start last year and then went nuts. After looking at his week 9 schedule I think it will be a repeat - just need to stay afloat until then! A TD would be nice though!

I worked out a trade in the preseason where I had the chance to get Holt or Marshall...wish I hadn't taken Holt now.
I took Holt over Boldin as my WR2 in my PPR league. I'm hoping that doesn't prove to be a mistake.
After week two: Ouch and Ouch. I'm a Holt owner too. The TD was nice, but I have real concerns about that O-Line's ability to protect Bulger long enough to get Holt the ball downfield on a regular basis.
