You could probably get him on the cheap right now. I'd sell him for a box of peanuts if I thought I could get it. I doubt he produces much of anything all year though.Coming off of yet another injury but was healthy enough to get some action this week. If he is available cheap do you think he is worth a roll of the dice at this point? Or will his injury linger throughout the season?![]()
Doesn't make it sound like the injury is very serious to me.I tend to think so. At this point; shut it down until after the bye - hopefully that gets him completely to 100% and ready for the stretch. As a Jackson owner, it would still take a fairly decent offer to get him from my team; however I am 2-1. For an owner 0-3, or 1-2, they may be forced to make a move. Spags did mention however he made it through Baltimore 'ok', but the game was out of hand and they'll increase his workload next week...
After week 7, STL schedule is cake, with PIT the only tough game. Buy S Jackson if the price is pretty low, as well as if you have some depth at RB to handle his injuries. Top 5 is too optimistic, but he can be a solid #2RB, especially in PPR leagues. If you can get him for "buy low" prices, I'd certainly consider it.As long as he's seeing starter's carries, I still see him as a virtual lock for top 10 numbers week-to-week. Especially with Amendola still on the shelf and Kendricks not performing. Somebody's got to start bailing Bradford out short if that team (and Bradford) are going to survive. And SJax is easily the prime candidate.I could easily see him as a top 5 back from this point forward. Especially with the cupcake schedule.
You are kidding, right?Healthy he is a beast...did you even see him running this year albiet in limited fashionAnd....did you see his 2nd half schedule? What are you basing your statement on?You could probably get him on the cheap right now. Yeah no idea what the guy is saying here. Now, DeAngelo Williams I would sell for a box of peanuts, but SJax, cmon he should be rolling second half of season. I do hope they hold him out until after the bye but doubt they willYou are kidding, right?Healthy he is a beast...did you even see him running this year albiet in limited fashionAnd....did you see his 2nd half schedule? What are you basing your statement on?You could probably get him on the cheap right now. As long as you have a solid QB and Schaub was expendable, that's a good trade.I was able to cut a deal today giving up Schuab and Deangelo Williams for Devery and SJax.
CAR steve smith, yes pleasei dont see his value getting any lower unless he gets another injury. coming off the bye week will be a thing to watch to better gauge his value going forward me thinkssteve smithvictor cruzhightower forsteven jacksondaniel thomasplaxico burress
i got the jackson side, terribly thin at RB. just trying to give a guage of what jackson is going for...CAR steve smith, yes pleasei dont see his value getting any lower unless he gets another injury. coming off the bye week will be a thing to watch to better gauge his value going forward me thinkssteve smithvictor cruzhightower forsteven jacksondaniel thomasplaxico burress

Declined and said it isnt close. He's a Bama fan, and came back with Ingram and McGahee. No way Im doing that. Really the only other feasible player he has to include would be TB Mike Williams. With TB and Williams himself looking like hot garbage, not sure how good I feel about that. McGahee has a bye this week and his schedule looks tougher than most to me. He's only got 1 TD and I expect Tebow to further limit his oppoertunities.Am I crazy to consider doing Ingram, McGahee, Nelson (Nelson is a throw in, my last bench spot) for SJax, TB Mike, and Cadillac?! Ingram's situation is frustrating to say the least, I dont see Willis keeping this up, and as previously stated in here, SJax has a juicy schedule.Offered DeAngelo and David Nelson for SJax and Little yesterday...still on the table
Not a terrible trade, but I would try to keep Ingram. McGahee & Nelson should be enough. Ingram is such a wildcard, but with 2 other backs in the mix and the possibility of Ivory back in the mix too... I would strongly consider Ingram too, but see if you can upgrade a WR from him if you do. Little will be a little too raw all year long i think.Declined and said it isnt close. Hit accept now, and I dont even really like MooreJust got offered Sjax and D. Moore for Starks and Cruz. I need RB help. Moore isn't worth much anymore, but I'm thinking about taking the deal - assuming sjax has anything left. I'm looking to sell high on cruz.
I agree. The Rams need Jackson to produce, so he will be given the chance to produce. You should be able to get him for much less then he should be going for, but I wouldn't stretch on the offers.I believe that Jackson will produce. On his first carry of the season he went for a 41 yd TD against a weak Philly run D, but it was his first carry. Quad injuries generally heal better than hamstring injuries and he's had ample time to recover. The rams are going to be catching up a lot and it helps that he can contribute out the backfield. I say purchase dirt cheap.
If he hadn't gotten injured he'd probably end up with around 1500 total yards and 8 TDs at the end of the season...Thank McDanny boy for Jackson's poor season. I can't believe the idiot continues to be talked about as one of the better offensive coordinators. Bum. The Rams are a mess.![]()
