STOCK TIP: ONVO [+21.0%] (1 Viewer)

I think this stock is due to rise. I bought at $6.33 a share and am hoping it hits $10.00. They recently had successful liver tests where 3D printed livers created albumin in response to toxic chemicals. Pharmaceutical companies will send them their drugs to be tested. They are also 3D printing kidneys.

It's a good low risk gamble. It's hit over $11.00 a share before it had successful prototypes or sold a product. It's low was $5.11 and that was before there was a success. Because investors know it isn't a complete failure, I believe more people will be apt to invest in technology that could help change the future.

I'm on board. Are you?

I am wondering if it is luck of the draw but why do you pick stocks with huge bets against them? ONVO has 23% of their outstanding shares shorted. Place holder just in case i have time later today to do some research.

Truth be told. I like this company and have been a shareholder since it traded OTC. Due to various maneuvers...the shares now held are at a cost basis below $0.00.

So - LT I like the the future potential that $ONVO holds. If it comes close to fulfilling that potential it will - years and years out- be a huge home run. With that said - the odds that it fulfills that full potential is smallish if we're being realistic.

Technically - the trend of $ONVO isn't ideally bullish. Rather it is setting up for a drop from here (read trend= bearish). That's not to say it can't run towards $7-$7.50 as a trader - but to me this is a speculative stock - with LT potential with my shares held at no cost (ie: lottery ticket) so at this point is just a long term hold.

In a general bull market I think this has VERY solid support in the $5.00 area, but Small Caps are looking pretty weak, and I have concerns with the Mid/Lrg caps too. What I"m saying is IF the market were to roll over (and that's a big IF) I'm not sure the $5.00 level would hold.

Ideally I'd want to see if I could get at least $.50 by writing $6.00 Puts one month out- for that to happen we'd need to see $ONVO a lot closer to $6.00...but I'd feel ok piking into a position that way...vs buying shares on the open market at this level and with the technical picture set up the way it is. If such a set up occurs that's exactly what I will do. If those shares got put to me I'd make another add at the $5.00 lvl and so on down. Meaning lets say I wanted 900 shares I'd write 3 contracts at $6...then 3 at $5, then 3 at $4 or until the trend turned bullish or the full lot of 900 shares got put to me and cost basis due to the put writing would be $4.50 per share on those 900 shares.

Personally I hope I'm wrong and that $ONVO goes to the moon starting right here. But I think we see a price in the $5's for sure if not lower before we see $10. With that said, my LT target is a whole lot higher than $10 because at the $10 level I think we'd be at an early stage of the company truly being able to fulfill its' potential so why would I want to take all the risk here and not reap the full reward for that risk on down the road.

I've been watching and thinking about ONVO for a long time. Now that you are recommending it I know I can get something else and let ONVO go on down some more. Thanks Em.

Looks like it's due to go back up soon.
I actually think so too, I'm gonna plop $450 more into it on Monday assuming the price is still appealing.
How much are you spending a month on credit card interest?
I'm not sure, I recently had a debt consolidation.
Forget accounting. You should become a financial planner

Just what I was thinking. I need a financial planner who won't be bogged down by stupid numbers. Give me 4 letters to throw my money and I'm set.

No, it's a good thing. My credit debt goes to zero and I get to close off the cards with the higher APR.

I pay less in interest now than before.

No. It's a bad thing. Debt consolidation is a huge black mark on your credit score.

Everyone just keeps leaping into the boat. The Em persona is the greatest fishing trip since "jerry rice: not a hall of famer"

It is probably the best thing right now since he's young and his score can recover before he's 30....but that's assuming he's not still abusing credit and headed toward the same death spiral in a couple years. Been there, done that. Credit cards is the debbil.

See the above part where he said he's planning to plop $450 dollars into this stock Monday.

I assumed he was using monies won from other stock successes and/or FanDuel winnings.

This is it fellas. I cashed in my entire portfolio to gobble up more ONVO stock. Looking to the future and NEVER looking back.

Hop on now and count our earnings later. Seriously, you want your money in this stock. It was covered by CNN today which was my cue that this is going to take off.

Welcome back!
It's great to be back, ace. Starting November first, ONVO has officially opened up for business. Selling 3D printed livers. You need to drop like 10 racks into this old sport. It's in a bull trend as is the first of it's kind in this market. I have never been more sure of anything in my life.

What makes this technology special? Drug companies can now test their experimental drugs on organs cheaper and faster without having to use tissue from an actual deceased human.

These people provide that service. Drugs will get on the market quicker and ONVO has a monopoly on the market.

They are working on printing other organs as well. This will revolutionize healthcare

Had a great drunken Halloween a few days ago.

Going great, still on pace to attend a University come fall of 2015. Olivet Nazerene University seems like my likely school of choice. I want to find me a Christian honey. :)

Em, I thought I caught a post of yours in the wagering thread a couple weeks back about you getting up to $350 on the day and wanting to double it up. I think you deleted that post though. Did you end up doubling?

Glad to see you settled on an Illinois school. Good luck, old chap.

Yeah, I turned $50 into $350 in one day. Before losing it all a few days ago in a parlay:

Steelers -1

Chargers pk

Somewhat ashamed, somewhat enraged at Philip Rivers.
