Streaming NFL Network? (1 Viewer)

http://www.sopcast.com/player/

12993 in Channel list is NFLN
WOW IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE U!@!!!!!!!!!
how long does it take to load, I have been waiting while it connects to the sop network....
took me two minutes with cabel modem
It's just sitting there trying to log on. I have DSL so speed should not be an issue. Could it be my firewall? Do you use a firewall?
When I installed SOPcast, I enabled my firewall then. Your firewall should tell you SOPcast is trying to access the internet, and give it that permission then. For those who ask the channel #, here again is the link to show all the games for SOPcast at once. Just click the links there on the schedule for the appropriate channel. Bookmark it.
I gave it permission, still can't log in :hot:
try rebooting sopcast or link above

I might have experienced that last week. Tonight I'm streaming fine by just viewing anonymously. Never logged in.

I am guessing maybe my DSL router is messing me up...I am running out of reasons. I am pretty darn computer savy too....I don't get it

This is what my screen looks like indefinitely.....doesn't ever change

did you try downloading the client?
yep, and it tells me that it cannot connect/login
I downloaded the zip file from HereOnce installed, I clicked on the channel tab, and selected 12933

It took a minute to start streaming, and then it worked ok.

I turned off my realtime virus protection which seemed to help the choppiness.

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread to all who are participating. Threads like this one count as one of the many reasons I come to FBG everyday.

Great stuff to be able to watch NFLN games!

The zip is what works for me too. I go to http://www.myp2p.eu/NFL.htm from my bookmarks and click the game I want and the association opens the client for me. Log in anonymously from there. Works great.

GOT IT!!!!!!!

I had to turn off my DSL router firewall. I left my McAfee firewall on with free access to this program.

Thanks to you guys for your input.

Link will not work if you didn't install the player from sopcast.org

Cowboys on now channel "Everything Cowboys"
Is this sopcast thing still working? I dont se nfl network listed anywhere. Also did a keyword search for it and no luck....
it wouldn't be there til near gametime. Everyone checking to see if it works is a waste of bandwidth.earlier in the thread is a link to a blogspot page that'll list the channel.

Also, As long as I download that client. Will I be able to watch without signing up?

I am concerned! I don't see the NFL network either. Last week at this time I was watching the pre game on sopcast. :o

Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - 8:00PM - NFLN

SOPcast: 12993

Edit: Yep, it is working! I think if you try it too early, it shows the channel offline. It came on right about 7:30 pm.

Sweet!! I was about to start tossing blame out at fellow FBG's for tipping off the Federales to our loophole!

Never watched a game on the NFL Network. Coverage looks very professional except for that Kara Henderson who frankly looks like a dog. probably the reason she's stuck covering a browns-steelers game

can anyone tell me what I would need to do to view this on my big screen and if the quality would be worth it or not?

Don't bother quality would be terrible.
it's youtube quality, i tv-out to a 27" and it looks ok, can't read the players names on the jersey or make out the faces in the helmets. obviously not even close to tv reception quality. but hey it's free. you can still see the play... just think of it as watching a game drunk :banned:

Quality wouldn't be that great. You'd be blowing it up by more than 4x, and the video stuttering will give you a headache. But, you'd just need a video card with an RCA, S-VHS, or Coaxial Video Out, sometimes labelled "TV-OUT" on the box.

They should include faulk for all games to help with commentary. The few minutes he was in the booth it was a lot more easier to listen/watch thegame.

I havent had any buffering issues at all either which is amazing to me. This sopcast will easily be able to hold me off until timewarner/brighthouse gets around to adding nfl network.

This thread should probably be stickied every thursday.
