Strength of schedule (1 Viewer)

How much emphasis do you put on SoS when making your first 2 selections? For example, I have seen Washington ranked in the bottom third in SoS against the run this year yet I have seen Portis labeled 'undervalued' as a late first rounder. What's the play here?

It might be a factor when deciding about players who are just about even, but I don't even think about it in the early part of the draft. I just get the best players possible. Around the sixth-seventh round is when I start thinking about SOS, guys who maybe have a cushy slate when it's playoff time. But it won't keep me from drafting an elite player. It's a consideration at times, but not an overriding factor.According to FBG, Matt Leinart has an easier passing schedule than Tom Brady ... who would you want?If it's someone like Portis, don't be worried because he's a stud and he'll produce more often than not. Use it to break a tie between two guys you want, but make sure that you don't overdo it.

I almost never think about it. As others have said, it can act as a tie breaker but otherwise it's not a big factor.
