Stud WR theory vs solid RB production. (1 Viewer)

Trying to decide if I want to load up at WR in the 2nd and 3rd then land a RB in the 4th like Dunn, Taylor, Droughns, or T. Bell.

Please, before you say this can't be done, know that I have mocked out 10 drafts on antsports.com for each scenario and have been able to get these teams almost everytime. It's a 10 team league, which awards 6pt per td pass, so qbs go earlier than expects also

Team 1 (WR loaded) Expected draft position in ( )

RB Alexander (1.03)

RB Dunn (4.08)

WR Holt (2.08)

WR Harrison (3.03)

WR Driver (5.03)

Team 2

RB Alexander (1.03)

RB Parker (3.03)

WR Holt (2.08)

WR R. Williams (4.08)

WR Driver (5.03)

I might feel a little uneasy about having R. Williams and Driver on my team, even though Parker is an upgrade at RB. These are guys that are consistently available at WR though.

According to Draft Dominator projections, these two teams are almost identical in projected points. So, I'm just looking for feedback on why or not you would want either team, based on your expectations of them and comfort level.

Just to add, another thing I like a little more about team 1, is that I feel like there are a lot of RB's you could land later on (D. Williams, Benson, Addai/Rhodes, Dayne, etc) that could pay off. Whereas at WR, I don't see as many sleeper options...but that's just me.

Can you make a team going RB in Round 2 instead of Holt. That team may look the best.

EDIT: Something like Alexander, Westbrook, Harrison, Driver.

I can, but according to the projections, Westbrook is 202 pts vs Parker at 200 pt. Not worth the earlier rd pick. Especially since I'd be looking at 207 pts for Holt and 195 for Harrison. There's a bigger drop off in pts going at WR.

i like team 1, for me, bigger diff between williams and harrison than parker and dunn.
Kind of what I'm thinking too. Also like the fact that the Colts may go aerial a little more this year w/o Edge.

I guess I need to know a few things before I can help you out:

1. What is the scoring system?

2. What are the starting lineup requirements?

3. What source are you using to determine ADP?

Since 3 of the guys are similar on both teams, the question really boils down to:RB Dunn (4.08)

WR Harrison (3.03)

or

RB Parker (3.03)

WR R. Williams (4.08)

I am probably in the minority, but I think Parker will outproduce Dunn and Williams will be very close to Harrison, so I'd probably go with Team 2.

However, those that like proven commodities will almost certainly side with Team 1.

Yep, that's pretty much what it comes down to. I think Dunn and Parker are similar RBs, in that they will get the yardage, but most likely will have a vulture to take the Tds. I think Parker will definetly outscore Dunn, having more yardage, but I'm not sure if it's enough to outweigh the consistency of Harrison vs the POTENTIAL of Williams. The other scenario, which has happened a couple times, is that Dunn slips to the 5th, so I grab Roy in the 4th, and don't lose anything...

My take on that is, if I take Roy in the 4th, and try to get Dunn in the 5th, I may have to end up with a Benson/Jones, Addai/Rhodes or Foster/Williams combo...which I'm okay with.

Remember, this is a 10 team league, so ADP for 12 team leagues don't necessarily apply.
