ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on SportsCenter Sunday that Fred Jackson (knee) is expected to play Sunday against the Patriots, but C.J. Spiller's (chest) status is less certain.

"The expectation is Fred Jackson is going to be out there and he's going to be getting most of the work," Schefter said. "There's still a question on C.J. Spiller at this point, after he suffered the chest injury last week. ... He's gonna test it pre-game to see whether or not he can play." As we had suspected, Jackson will be the lead back against New England and Spiller will be a change-of-pace runner in the event he's active for the game.

Oakland Raiders TE Brandon Myers (concussion) passed all the concussion tests, and he is cleared to play in Week 4. Myers participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28, without any apparent setbacks. Myers still is listed as questionable for the game, but he will start.
