Can someone explain when MLB actually starts? On the MLB website under important dates, both March 25th and March 31st are titled "Opening Day" and March 30th is called "Opening Night".

March 25th and 26th games count as they are the Japanese series games.

March 30th game counts.

March 31st is the beginning where every game counts.
