**Sunday Night Football - Seattle at Washington**(+3, 48) 8:20 (1 Viewer)

regression aside, it's still a 3-4 year plan. Always has been. 40% of the roster is over 30 years old. Most will not be here more than 2 years. They are trying to put vets around Daniels while he get better, lock him up for his second deal, and crush from there. Problem is the vets are playing like crap, so JD5 isn't getting the chance to improve.
To build on what you said, the vets they had last year played over their heads; in fact the whole team did, and they believed they could. Most of the vets were on 1-year contracts, and some of the wrong ones were let go (Fowler, Zaccheus, Chinn) while the ones signed to replace them were just not as good. Zaccheus in particular was a big loss; look what he's doing for the Bears. Instead we now have Invisible Man Noah Brown. McLaurin's injured, which was overdue because he's missed so few games in past years. They effectively have no WR corps. The whole offense is Ertz, Daniels, and some feeble attempts to run the ball. The O-line is a sieve, and he d-line is worse.

Hard nosed Dan Quinn just ruined his season down 38-7 in garbage time getting Jayden Daniels killed

What the hell was he doing out here, this game is long over.
Not a professional lip reader, but when they cut to Quinn, it looked like he mouthed "we're F'N done"
He's right.

He's a dope probably perpetually scarred by 28-3

Did he think they were rallying?

Jayden Daniels was like a gift from God for a post Snyder era and he's already been injured this season, what was the possible thought process of letting him run in traffic on the goal line.

Fireable offense, this team was only successful because of Daniels, not Quinn.

To be fair to Quinn, there was like 12m left in the 4th when that drive started. Not many coaches would’ve pulled their starting QB at the point, even with the score.

I own Daniels, so I like him. But, you can’t protect him like he’s a bubble kid.
Small guy, big bodies congested on the goal line. He can't live his life in bubble wrap, no, but in no way do you expose him to what happened with a run there.

I mean he's just back from the leg injury.

The better question is why was Daniels running? I mean, I get it, but still...

Anyway, one of the knocks on him is his slight frame. Yeah, it was kind of a freak injury, but having bulk and strength can help prevent flukey things like that from happening.

There was no discovery happening here in the 4th, there were no moral victories to be had, You'd pull a QB up 38-7 so why do you play one down 38-7 when the game is academic? Maybe why play this QB?
Yeah, absolute smooth brain stuff there.
I mean, they're a mash unit, Deebo playing hurt, Terry is out. Daniels just back from an injury, it boggles the mind. Was this to establish Treyon Burks?

The team improved last year and it seems the GM and coach got giddy about a team that was not really all that good
to begin with, just had a bunch of veterans play above their heads with their rookie QB

They did nothing to improve in the offseason, actually let guy's go that they probably should have kept
They are an old team, with minimal talent. They need help everywhere.

The OL is bad, they lack young skill players that make a difference

The defense is really bad, they have no playmakers at all
Can't rush the QB up front and can't cover anyone in the back

This team may not win another game this season and now their franchise QB is hurt, possibly severely

The team needs to clean house from the GM on down, it does not seem like they have a plan or at least a good plan

A lot of hindsight on a freak injury - I've never seen that type of injury.

Daniels got banged around much more on the sacks. He needs to limit his running in the future. He doesn't have Lamar's build.
I remember seeing it happen to Koy Detmer one of the years he was in when McNabb got hurt, wasn’t as graphic on TV but obvious at the same time. Checking it out, his initial diagnosis was out 2-5 weeks FWIW.

Mike McDonald deserves some credit. The Seahawks defense plays hard and it's difficult for opponents to figure out where the pressure is coming from.

Daniels injury looks awful. An elbow is not supposed to bend like that.
:wall::wall::wall:

injury shown here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/1on235p/injury_sea_vs_was_jayden_daniels_goes_down_with/
Very ugly.
Not sure why he put his arm out like that. All that force. Not blaming him - kind of a fluke injury. Just seemed ill-advised. Probably wasn’t doing it consciously.
The reaction by the two Seahawks players coming up on the play says it all. Jeesus

Is Jayden Daniels gonna be able to do something in garbage time? If not, that’s pretty damning of his ROS outlook,,,
If the coaches have half a brain he won’t have his helmet on during garbage time.
Narrator:

They don’t, in fact, have half a brain.

Would probably be wise for this dude to eat some sandwiches and hit the weight room before he steps foot on an NFL field again.

Totally predicted it. You should use your oracle like skills on something more profitable like picking stocks!
