Sunday Ticket discount (2 Viewers)

Searched past threads and figured I'd just start a new one. Of course, Google is offering more of a discount to new YouTube TV subscribers than for current ones. If you already have YTTV and want Sunday Ticket with RedZone, then it will cost $420 (instead of $480). I searched all over for any discounts, because last year there was an early bird discount, but not this year. I did find this:

Basically, if you subscribe to Best Buy Plus for $50, you can get Sunday Ticket+RZ for $300 plus taxes (so around $70 less if you don't already have a Best Buy Plus subscription). Also, I believe that the account emails for Best Buy Plus and for YTTV don't have to match, so you can find someone who has Best Buy Plus but isn't a YTTV subscriber, and you can use their account to buy Sunday Ticket for yourself. But even if you subscribe yourself, it's still a savings. (You MIGHT even be able to sign up for Best Buy Plus, subscribe to Sunday Ticket, and then cancel Best Buy Plus and get a refund, but I'm not sure.)

1. if you bought a 5g phone from Verizon or their internet service within the last 60 days, you get Sunday Ticket for free. It's posted on their Web site.
2. if you are on Verizon service and don't qualify for the above, you can sign up through their Web site for $280. it just occurred to me I don't think this includes RZ.

I had no idea this promo existed. We're on Verizon and I did just buy two new 5g phones for my kids, but they were from Apple. I got the discounted ST+RZ for basically $100 off. Thanks!

With YTTV, you can add the NFL RedZone with Sports Plus for $11/month. You only need it for September, October, November and December so it's basically $44 and then cancel at the end of December.

And I pay with my Capital One Quicksilver with Capital One Shopping and I get a discount off the $11 price. Works out to about $8 a month for 4 months...$32 total

Thx gents, great call out on the capital one trick with monthly sub on RZ. I saved roughly $200 with RZ compared to the regular renewal price that would have hit next week without RZ thx to this thread as a reminder.

Thanks very much for the Verizon info. Getting ST for < $300 is a win to me, so I took advantage.
