Going 30 for 40 and close to 300 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions warrants MVP consideration. I don't know of any other player whose performance warranted such consideration. Weatherford had a great game, but he only punted 3 times (?) and you don't give the MVP to a special teamer. Brady had very good numbers but was on the losing team and didn't outplay Manning IMO. Tuck played well but his sack at the end of the game was more a reflection of the pressure of Osi on the outside (forcing Brady up in the pocket, thus allowing Tuck to sack him). On other boards, other people have thrown out Manningham as a MVP. Manningham had an awesome catch, but it was an equally awesome throw - although the announcers really didn't give Manning his due. I also don't think his numbers were great and, he had a very makeable catch on the sideline a couple of series earlier and all I could think was that if it was Toomer out there, he'd have made the catch with a foot (12 inches) to spare. My vote therefore goes to Eli.
