Who does this anymore? You named three years, but nobody has said this since, well, the Broncos or Colts.I continue to laugh at people who act like a team beating the Patriots twice in one season is unheard of, like Belichick is too smart to allow himself to lose a team twice in one season. These people obviously have short memories:2005: Patriots lost to the Broncos in the regular season and the playoffs2006: Patriots lost to the Colts in the regular season and the playoffs2010: Patriots lost to the Jets in the regular season (beating them once as well) and the playoffs
What about them losing to a team 3 times during the season (pre-season included)?I continue to laugh at people who act like a team beating the Patriots twice in one season is unheard of, like Belichick is too smart to allow himself to lose a team twice in one season. I think that is wishful thinking. He may not be as heavily involved in normal offensive plays, but he can still be a threat in the red zone.Would the spread be any different if Gronkowski had not gotten injured? I'm thinking no.Given that, the real possibility that Gronk is severly limited makes NYG a much more attractive bet IMO.
http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2012/02/saturday_practi.htmlPatriots tight end Rob Gronkowski showed no trace of a limp for the 75 minutes he was on the field posing first for team photos and then with assorted waves of teammates' family members. Gronkowski, who suffered a high ankle sprain in the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens, walked briskly from the field and up the tunnel headed for the buses outside. He was listed as "questionable" on Friday's injury report."I think he's doing better," Belichick said before the team went on the field to begin the session. "I think he's doing a little better each day. We'll just have to see where things (are) and get through tomorrow."
Agree 100%. His biggest issue is going to be making sharp cuts. My guess is they eliminate any routes that may involve those, keep him off of special teams, and otherwise it's the usual day at the office for Gronk, which scares the hell out of me as a Giants fan.I think that is wishful thinking. She did a ton of work for a ton of charities, financially, organizationally, and at the ground level.I know her achievements don't rank up there with running fast or catching the ball, but she actually helped lots and lots of needy people.LOL at ESPN's crap about Myra Kraft. So what exactly were her achievements beside getting born and getting married? Not a fuggin thing. What a wonderful person, an inspiration to us all.
She woulda bought better poker chips than wallmart.'Jojo the circus boy said:MHK > "All-In"
Considering they are only the 3rd 9-7 team to make it to the Super Bowl, probably not. A better question would be... Has a 9-7 team ever been playing this well?Has there ever been a more confident 9-7 team?
So... no? I mean besides picking a lucky ###### to get popped out of.'randall146 said:She did a ton of work for a ton of charities, financially, organizationally, and at the ground level.I know her achievements don't rank up there with running fast or catching the ball, but she actually helped lots and lots of needy people.'AmosMoses said:LOL at ESPN's crap about Myra Kraft. Do you watch football besides the Super Bowl? People bust Tebow's balls for praising the lord the first thing after every game he plays, if he just simply pointed to the sky after a good play, no one would say a word. How come no one busts Brady's balls for pointing at the skies towards Ms Kraft, supposedly, but they bust Tebow all the time for doing the same exact thing...???Double friggin standard...Its tom terrific..so there MUST be a heaven, right..???
sounds like she could be an inspiration to you, at least.'AmosMoses said:LOL at ESPN's crap about Myra Kraft. So what exactly were her achievements beside getting born and getting married? Not a fuggin thing. What a wonderful person, an inspiration to us all.
Well her death wasn't enough to inspire the team to win a game. I guess that didn't mean #### afterall. I asked a friend of mine what he though "All in" meant. He had a p damn good theory! It might be worth a new thread though!sounds like she could be an inspiration to you, at least.'AmosMoses said:LOL at ESPN's crap about Myra Kraft.
