Superflex pick 1.01 who to pick (1 Viewer)

I’m in a 12 team 1pt ppr Superflex league. I have 1.01 pick. I can keep 1 of the following players: Puka(16 round) or B. Hall(5 round). Who would you pick 1.01 and who would you keep?

In a keep one format I just keep the best player and don't worry about value. It's one guy so I would rather just have the best guy. For me that would be Hall. Puka is getting a ton of hype but I think he hit the jackpot of circumstance last year. While he performed awesome with those circumstances I am just not sold he will do as well this year. Still great, but not to the extent he did last year. Hall is great and will be the focal point. I keep him.

As far as pick 1.01, If this is a rookie only draft I would for sure go with Caleb. Highest combo of floor and ceiling of those QB's. With every team only keeping one player, I would expect there to be a lot more talent than just rookies so that would likely mean I would take a non-rookie at that pick. But without knowing who is available it's impossible to know who I would take.

I would pick Bijan Robinson 1.01 and keep Breece Hall.

Bijan Robinson is a top-tier RB prospect with a high floor and ceiling, and in a Superflex league, he's even more valuable. He's likely to be a workhorse RB with a strong offense and a good QB, which increases his chances of scoring TDs and racking up yards.

As for the keepers, Breece Hall is a more valuable asset than Puka Nacua, especially considering the round difference. Hall is a talented young RB who showed promise in his rookie season, and he's likely to be a key contributor to the Jets' offense. Keeping him in the 5th round is a great value, whereas keeping Puka Nacua in the 16th round is not as valuable.

I would say that the round difference is a huge benefit to Puka's value and brings him in very close value wise to Hall so I think that bold statement is incorrect.

That being said, I agree that Hall is the better player and should be kept regardless of the valuations of each player.

As for Bijan, Why do you think he is available? If you go that route of just picking any name out of a hat then in a SF I would just go with Allen or Mahomes as 1.01. Huge advantage in SF to have those guys locked up depending on scoring system of course.

players can only be kept drafted after the 2nd round. CMC, Bijan and the big WR Lamb, Hill will be available. In my league between the first and second round we average about 10 QB’s taken. I am thinking keep Hall and draft one of the 4 above 1.01.

What QB's will be available?

Tua, Love, Purdy ahead of any rookie in a superflex IMO.

ETA: that doesn't seem to be the concensus though. BRB after I make a few offers for Purdy, Love and Tua.

Most likely Lawrence, Love, Williams, Goff, Tua,Purdy, Cousin, Rogers, Stafford.
Tough to take one of those guys over the RB/WR group you listed above. Will any of these make it back for your 2nd pick?

Also, does the scoring justify overvaluing QB's? By this I mean, is it a must to play a QB in the SF spot or is the scoring balanced enough that you can play another position there and not be at a disadvantage?

We are a Superflex but you don’t have to play two QB’s. Our weekly lineup is 1 QB, 1Rb, 1WR, 1TE with 5 flex positions. There is a max of 2 QB’s but the rest of the flexes can be any combination.

I understand what SF is however what I was asking was if the scoring dictated that you should play QB's in the SF spot.

What is the position distribution of the top 30 scorers in the league? Is it balanced across positions?

my pick in the second round will be 2.12. Historically during the first two rounds 8 to 10 QB’s will be taken. If I wait until pick 2.12/3.1 I should be able to get 1 top 12 QB’s. Thank you for your help.
