Survey: Week 2 Moves - Deuce McAllister (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to assess Deuce's perceived value right now.

If you're seen him traded during Week 2, please say what for in this thread. Info that needs to be included:

Redraft or Keeper

Scoring system

Starting lineup

What were the rosters of the teams involved in the trade

Thanks!

I'm hoping Deuce is undervalued and I can scoop him up cheap as a serviceable RB3 or flex option.

I have tried to package him with solid #1 WR and sometimes P. Rivers to upgrade at WR. Everyone says he is a scrub and doesn't want him. I would probably have to throw him in for free in any trade I make.

Deuce was the #10 RB in most scoring formats last year. I would hang onto him if you have him. His value is almost zero right now and I think he will get back on track this week. He's averaging 4.3 yds per carry, same as last year. I think the Saints coaching staff is going to get the running game going first with Deuce and the rest of the offense will fall into place.

I didn't pull the trigger, but I had a deal in place to trade McAllister for Hasselbeck.

My current lineup (start 2RB/3WR or 1RB/4WR)

Brees

Garcia

LJ

McAllister

A Green

T Bell

Owens

Burress

Edwards

Burleson/Hackett

So, by doing the trade (Garcia/McAllister for Hasselbeck/Betts), I get covered if Brees continues to be a slouch, and I'm less dependent on N.O. players. However, it starts leaving me pretty thin at RB. So, I passed on doing it right now, but could come back to it next week as the other owner needs a backup RB badly. I thought I try Brees one more week. Any thoughts?

Just traded him in a package with with Brees, Welker, and Cotchery for LenDale, Campbell, AJ, and Bruce. I know AJ is hurt but I can stand to let him sit a couple of weeks. Then I will have two studs (Owens) in my start 3WR format.

am I the only one who thinks you got hosed in this deal?

In our 12 team league, that is a 3 keeper league, but is being converted to a Dynasty next year, so we will be redrafting...

Team A was in dire need of RB help, so he traded Colston and the Seahawks D to Team B for Deuce and 49ers D

Team B is RB heavy, with LT, Portis and Henry in addition to Deuce

I would only give up a #3 WR in a dynasty league. RBBC for the rest of his career in New Orleans.
Thats the mistake the Saints are paying for right now , they should run Deuce early and often . Then use Bush as a reveiver and on third down .They would be way more effective , Bush is no featured back .The rest of the league figured it out and the Saints offense is struggling.
