Thanks, I have mixed feelings about it. Of course it's great to win a league this strong, and the money will be great (I don't play in money leagues, so apart from a share of someone else's winnings for drafting his team last year, this is my first FF money). However, due to the format of this league (survivor, with no interference after the draft), I end up feeling a little odd about winning the league... my accomplishment to some extent boils down to drafting a decent-enough team and having good injury luck. Throw in that I got to draft Shaun Alexander just based on where my draft slot was, and the skill percentage goes down a little bit more.

Remember, after the draft when we were asked to pick any other team that we'd like to have, nobody chose mine. Apart from Steve Smith, nobody really overachieved on my team - I'm guessing that if people were asked again to pick the best team, mine would not be chosen much at all even knowing how the season went.

To close to call in my book...this will have to go to Dodd's scorecard as the overall title could be decided by less than a point. Good luck all.

Good times either way. :)

Cool stuff. Considering we only had three in the finals, just getting this close is an accomplishment.

Great job Tick! Congrats! Remember before the draft we were talking about you taking LJ at 4.9 I believe, but you didn't want him so I took him at 4.11 and you still drafted a championship team.Good showing Lhucks, good year.

I had players like Andre Johnson, Larry Johnson and Ricky Williams really start to play well down the stretch for my team..........but to little to late. Lots of fun, great to follow.

Good showing Lhucks, good year.
Thanks. I was pleased with my showing given that I lost McNabb and Ahman. Most have injuries, I was just able to add some key depth to plug the holes.I would not have drafted much differently.

I'm ready to draft again. :football:

Team scoring will be based on this table:

1st place = 20 points

2nd place = 15 points

3rd place = 12 points

4th place = 10 points

5th place = 8 points

6th place = 4 points

7th place = 2 points

8th place = 1 point

Final Standings:

Tick (MB) - 203.0 + 147.8 + 165.1 + 158.2 = 674.1

LHUCKS (MB) - 131.7 + 174.4 + 166.0 + 148.5 = 620.6

Mike Anderson (S) - 129.2 + 141.5 + 184.1 + 165.4 = 620.2

Chase Stuart (S) - 151.2 + 166.2 + 132.6 + 132.8 = 582.8

Maurile Tremblay (S) - 142.8 + 132.7 + 149.8 + 141.4 = 566.6

Ken Maxwell (MB) - 109.3 + 147.3 + 153.4 + 137.5 = 547.5

David Shick (S) - 121.9 + 149.8 + 143.7 + 117.6 = 533.0

Cecil Lammey (S) - 104.4 + 138.3 + 111.9 + 145.2 = 499.8

Message Board = 39 points, Staff = 33 points.

 Great showing by Tick, LHUCKS, and (to a lesser extent ;) ) Maxwell.
We needed Maxwell - if he finished 8th, it would have been a tie. Thanks to LHUCKS and Maxwell for earning me an extra money bonus.

Great job! Message Board 2-0 :pickle: What's the strategy going to be for them next year?
When LHUCKS and Tick get hired, I guess that would make me MB captain. Let the sucking up begin.
:lmao: Great job MB! Two years in a row!

Guess my early departure gave the staff an feeling of invinceability and that helped our team win. Great job guys. It was fun watching the comeback!
