What determines the official position or status of a player? The NFL or FF?

He's a QB that plays TE. Kinda like one of the QBs on the local college team; he has 1 pass attempt and 20 receptions. The team designates the player's position.

If i’m not mistaken, each Sunday the NFL commissioner determines the official position of each player in the league. I have read that he wakes up at 2a and goes over each rooster. Last week, he made a mistake and confused breece hall, with bryce hall, so breece couldn’t play RB.

Okay...back on track...how can FF designate him as a TE when he's actually designated as a QB by the NFL?

Each hosting site selects what position the player will be designated under. If the hosting site's policy is to follow the NFL, then you'd have beef. But right now, each site determines what position he'll be eligible under.

I hope that made it simple enough.

Going up against Taysom this week? I traded for him in dynasty, and he's a TE by our designation. It's glorious.
