T.Jones and LT are going to cut into Charles and Green (1 Viewer)

I am starting to have second thoughts about J.Charles and S. Greene being #1 rb's. Not that they don't have the talent to do so, but their situations may not allow them to be. It seems to me that Ladainian Thomlison and Thomas Jones are just not going to go away.

Is it possible that both rb's get at best 60/40 splits and lose goal line carries? If those scenario's play out they will be solid #2 rb's, but not the elite backs that many of us expected them to be in the offseason.

Is anyone else moving these guys down on their draft boards?

The Jets will run all day. Sanchez isn't looking like he has progressed at all.

Greene and LT will both be valuable. Greene is a low end #1 and LT is a flex start until further notice.

KC is a tougher situation, since I don't expect them to have as much success running the ball as a team.

Charles can help the team when they aren't running the ball very well. Greene can't. And the fact that they won't be a great running team makes Charles even more valuable to the Chiefs.

I have a feeling that we are going to see that Jones' production last year was the product of the NYJ line. Charles is much better suited to run behind a weaker KC line.

I was never high on Greene as a RB1. But I'm so entrenched in PPR that I have a hard time unplugging that part of it from my evaluations. But I have liked what I've seen from Tomlinson. He's not what he was, but he's got enough left to do some damage behind that o-line. His versatility as both a runner and receiving target are going to be attractive when Ryan can sub him in without telegraphing what the next play is going to be.

I think that McCluster is going to hurt Charles more than people think. What does Charles do that McCluster can't? The Chiefs can give them both touches without any kind of drop-off and not worry about running either one into the gound. I also think McCLuster is going to cause some heartburn for non-McCluster owners when they start facing him every week listed as a WR.

This. The Jets run the ball enough to support both Greene and Tomlinson's fantasy value. Green will get more carries, Tomlinson will get more catches. Both have good value, Greene slightly more because his touches should approach 300 while LT's touches will be around 180-200.The Chiefs, on the other hand, will run the ball about 150 times less than the Jets will this season. Neither Jones nor Charles will reach 200 carries unless the other gets hurt early in the year. Furthermore, Jones will get all the goalline carries. Charles will be a bust.

I don't think McCluster is as physical as Charles. McCluster will be used a lot, but as a pure RB, Charles is much better. I sound crazy, but in many ways I feel Charles is about the closest thing to Chris Johnson this year. He does not need a good line in front of him, Jones does, and KC doesnt have that. Charles and McCluster will help each other out this year.

 Does your league award 1pt per carry?

Everything you just said about charles reminds me very much of another situation..... hmmm.... could it be Lenwhale and Chris Johnson last year? Why yes i think it is
