T.Y. Hilton Out of the Game - Knee Wrapped In Ice (1 Viewer)

The bad news is that their attempt to mount a comeback this week may have to come without wide receiver T.Y. Hilton. Hilton, who had seven catches for 88 yards in the first three quarters, returned to the locker room as the third quarter came to a close. Trainers appeared to be examining Hilton’s left leg before he departed and the team said Hilton was having x-rays taken of his left knee.

Hilton left after the Colts scored their first touchdown of the season on an Andrew Luck pass to Donte Moncrief. They got the two-point conversion on a throw to tight end Coby Fleener, which left them down 24-8 heading into the final quarter in Buffalo.

Who's the one to pick up? Who will benefit the most? Dorsett or Moncrief?

Dorsett is more versatile and can play inside and outside, Moncrief should know the system better in his second season. Obviously both with play a lot in 3 WR sets, so it doesn't really matter who is WR2 and who is WR3 on the depth chart. Could turn out to be a weekly guessing game...

"T.Y. Hilton day to day with bruised knee"

Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton did not suffer a serious injury on Sunday.

Although Hilton had to leave the loss to the Bills, he got good news today when an MRI revealed that he only has a knee bruise. A league source tells PFT that Hilton is viewed as “day to day.”

Although Hilton left the game early, he was the Colts’ leading receiver on Sunday, with seven catches for 88 yards. Losing him for any extended period of time would be a big blow to a Colts team that got the season off to a surprisingly rough start.

The Colts’ Week Two game will be Monday night against the Jets, and they’ll hope to have Hilton on the field.

*whew* Sounds like Hilton owners dodged a bullet. I'll take a week off over what could have happened.

I don't know if 'dodged a bullet' is the correct phrase. He is out at least 3 weeks, deep bruises are brutal especially when you are trying to rush back.

I guess this is a positive for Andre Johnson owners.

Doesn't say anything about three weeks in that blurb.
