Something I came upon in the music threads. Seems odd. Journals, diaries, Excel spreadsheets with songs and how many times you listened to them.
What do you guys think about taking notes about one's own life? Is it an academic impulse, a narcissistic one, or just a compensation for faulty memory, and therefore, a display of humility and consciousness? Does it clarify your positions and thoughts?
Seems I've forgotten more than I'll ever catch up with. How do you guys go about your documentation and your memoriams?
