Targets for Clemens-owners... (1 Viewer)

I've got Clemens (free agent pick-up after the announcement). And it's almost time to cash in the chips.

I imagine that I'm not the only one.

I'm looking to assemble a list of potential players to trade for... players who are good buy-low candidates.

The first two that pop into my head are ManRam and Abreu.

What other high-end buy-low candidates are there?

Why not hang on to Clemens? Do you need pitching?Clemens >>>>>>> Abreu at this point. I'd try to at least get a Sheffield or someone.

Leading in ERA, WHIP, and K/9. (Peavy, Hamels, Sheets, Ol.Perez)That and I don't think Clemens will be as good as people expect him to be, so I want to move him before he logs too many starts.

Ok... so here's what we've got so far...AbreuSheffieldManny RamirezAndruw Jones (thought of him today)

Manny or Miguel Cabrera for Clemens, are you kidding? Even the Abreu owner is going to be giving up more than he will get back.

Just how effective do you think this guy is going to be? He's not in the NL any longer.

It wouldn't necessarily be a straight up deal... I'm just looking to compile a list of potential trading targets... guys who have gotten off to a slow-start.At any rate... I'm inclined to agree with you... hence the desire to move him while his value is high.
