Tax thing, ex employee, I am the CFO, HR guy, IT guy, Everything guy.
I have been doing an ex employees taxes for years, he went somewhere else last year, guessing he didnt file. Good guy but drugs and what not. His parents were both teachers at nscu. So he always get 1099 int, this year about 150.00. Now he has 2 1099-mis, one for 3k plus one for 4k plus. He had a w2 in 2014, so his one 1099 i did as a one time or sporadic event. This year just 1099s, is he locked in to being self employed? I am guessing yes but for someone like him, I just want to make sure. I am happy to pay you out of my owm pocket for the advise.
