Tatum Bell on the cover of Fantasy Football Index (1 Viewer)

Remember last year Tatum made their cover; egads.

Just think, Bell being on the cover THIS year would have been a perfect crystal ball forecast.....well sort of.

He's got the job now...he just needs to run with it...literally.

Anyways, just wanted to point out the pie in the face they got last year wouldn't have been nearly as bad this year.

I think FFI has to be happy with the way this year has turned out for Tatum. They took a lot of heat for being so wrong last year. This gives them some sort of justification in my mind.

So basically I should buy their mag and sit on it for a year before applying their material.

They def. still have egg on their face from last year.

We might have egg on our face for having Bush on the cover.

Luckily I only drafted him in about half of my leagues after you convinced me he was the second coming.

:lmao:I am still confident - I have him in three of four leagues - as my RB2 in my big $$ league, so we are in the same boat.(disclaimer: in my big $$ league, I drafted RBush at 2.11, and TBell at 7.02, and TBell looksto be moving ahead of RBush into a solid RB2 spot behind LT, so I'm not ALL that screwed in that league with Reggie)

I don't think the two compareBush was the #1 offensive player taken in the NFL draft. He's the most hyped player to come out of college since Peyton Manning. There's constant attention given to him by the media and has his share of commercial time. Everyone expects greatness. Most everyone is on his bandwagon and he has already been on many magazine covers FF as well regular sports periodicals before you guys even thought of doing it.Tatum Bell was a nobody coming out of college. A second round draft pick that joe blow knew nothing about coming into his second year with the incumbant still in house. He had done nothing to propel himself to magazine coverboy status in the limited time he played for the Broncos during 2004.Bush could do nothing for the rest of the year and the gaffe of putting Tatum Bell on their cover will still be 10X worse.

The cover said, "Why Tatum Bell is the key to your FF draft".

You should see FBG picks and quotes in it, good stuff, head and shoulders above the others there for the most part.

Your material was so convincing ala SSOG that I took him at 1.10 in my ppr homerun league. I'm 1-5 there but got Tatum at 7.10. Time will tell.

......or you will for pimping him so hard at the start of the season. Didn't I tell you that drafting him that high was a mistake?

Yeah it was a big bust to go with T Bell on the cover last year, but FFI has been good to me through the years. They made a big call on Steve Smith and Boldin coming back from their injuries last year (moreso than the other fantasy sites I saw). I scored both of those guys last year thanks to FFI and cleaned up.

Also scored Antonio Gates with a last round draft choice his rookie year due to a tip in FFI.

Ignore them at your own risk.

I'm still in wait and see mode on whether it was a mistake. He's got a lot of season left to play.I won last week with TBell and RBush as my RBs with LT on a bye, and he's been gold in my PPR leagues, so I haven't felt the sting of drafting him that high yet.

This is quickly becoming a :hijacked: , but Bush is doing well as an NFL player, just not a fantasy player. He's being used as a decoy to distract the D from the real SOD candidate - Deuce McAllister.

Reggie Bush is the Michael Vick of RB's....lots of talent and yards and NO scores.
