TB running back hell: Start A.Smith? (1 Viewer)

As of right now I have 3 TB running backs on my roster: Martin, Jaquizz, and now A.Smith. I really want to drop Martin as he's shown zero sign of returning but I don't think I can since there are so few good RBs. I feel like I can't drop Jaquizz since he's been pretty darn good since Martin went out but he could also be out a while.

My question is this: do I roll the dice and start A.Smith over my equally unappealing other choice Asiata? I'm worried about the Thursday matchup and the fact that Smith could easily be swapped out for Barber or Mike James early.

I lost Lacy and have J.Howard on bye so I'm in a bad spot all around. Hoping to make a trade but all the RB heavy teams have too many byes this week to do anything.

For me the health on McKinnon is a factor. If he's going to play and it looks like he is then I'd probably roll the dice with Smith as there isn't many other choices if you're not willing to drop Mattin or Rodgers.

Smith will likely be the receiving back out of the 3 so if Tampa end up chasing which I fully expect them to then he would still have a roll.

Asiata probably has a safer floor whether McKinnon plays or not so it boils down to how comfortable you are with Thursday night games if you'd be happy with a possible minimum 5 points from  Asiata.

If I had the choice I'd go Asiata. At least with him he stands a great chance of scoring a TD. I know how you feel, I'm rolling the dice on Smith tonight over TJ Yeldon.
