TE Klopfenstein to start (1 Viewer)

TE Joe Klopfenstein is reportedly expected to start in Week 1.

"I think Joe's been the most consistent," coach Scott Linehan said. "Tight ends are blockers and receivers, but they're blockers first." He may not be a fantasy option right away, but a tight end in St. Louis' offense is always worth watching.

Odd comment, considering that the most a St. Louis TE has done in the past 3 years is 238 yards and 2 TDs.

Not only that, but the local paper itself is ignoring the change in coaching staff and offensive system.

zamboni,I found this info at rotoworld. The commentary was from a rotoworld contributor.I'm with you though, since when has Stl. used their TE?

Gotcha - the commentary wasn't in quotes. To be fair, if they're saying that a TE under Linehan is worth watching, that could make sense. But they probably assume that the offense will remain potent and that a TE is valuable in a potent offense.

Anyway, nothing against the good folks at Rotoworld, but I've already given them too much attention. :loco:

I just picked him up as a 2nd TE

in one of my leagues.

Many people don't realize that a regime

change in St Louis may benefit JK.
