TE T.J. Hockenson, MIN (1 Viewer)

I have no idea what to expect of Hock once he returns. I've never owned him before, I just know he finished TE4 last year in 0.5 PPR I believe.

:blackdot:

Might actually need him to play this week. Was sitting on my bench behind Kittle but might need the flex.

Hock should be returning to the lineup this weekend vs. the Colts (Who suck vs. fantasy TEs). Are you guys starting him his first game back in almost a year?

I have Pitts as my other option and it would be pretty hard to sit him after stringing alone 3 solid games and 1 elite one.

I was all ready to finally bench Laporta but he has to go and be stupid and have a good game so now i dont know what im going to do.

Depends who you have - Id go with Pitts or any other top 5 TE for his 1st game back at least. Im on the fence with Hunter Henry myself. Would like to see him out there without restrictions before I go all in but risk missing out on a big game. tough call

I’m on the Hunter Henry/Hockenson ownership train as well. And really hate rostering two tight ends which leaves me thin at RB depth. I’m hopeful we hear Hockenson is a full go, and I can drop Henry for a flyer on Sunday.

From Faust's source above:

"[Hockenson] said he is "bigger, stronger and faster than ever" according to measurements taken with the advanced technology the Vikings used during his long recovery and rehabilitation."

Rostered in 2/3 of my leagues, but after reading what he himself has said about his rehab, just felt compelled to add him. I already have Kincaid & Kraft so I'll looking to move one of them.

Have him and Njoku and trying to unload one immediately. Doubt anyone will bite, however.
Tight end is a hard position to trade. I’ve done the same where I have two pretty good guys, and then you look at the rest of the league rosters and nothing really feels like an upgrade at the position.

You feel comfy starting him first week back even over Sam LaPorta?
I realize your comment wasn't meant to me personally & I don't know the answer to your question. But I am starting Hock over Kincaid & Kraft, if that's of any use. Now, this is the 1st year I haven't had him on multiple teams, often reaching for him in the 4th rd. Obviously, a player I really like. So, ... grain of salt stuff, wishful thinking from an owner who freaked out when finding him on the wire a few days ago in one league. :)

Darnold has a huge game, but TJ's output was rather pedestrian. 5 targets, 4 catches for 45 yards. He's on my bench and not sure if I want to keep using the space to hold him.
