I know the reference but I dont think Ive read all of those before. I am in a parking lot having my lunch and literally, (as in the original definition of the word,) crying and laughing out loud in my car, Def Comedy Jam style.

Don't do anything. Don't read books or blogs, don't watch any videos. The less you know, the more exciting the campaign will be. But you do need to find an excellent Dungeon Master (DM) and put your experience in his or her hands. How does one find an excellent DM? I have no idea.
