SUPER ELITE UPPER TIER
The Diamondbacks want a new stadium? I understand that Chase Field is 20 years old, but that stadium is still a modern stadium. It was built around the same time as all of these "new" modern, throwback stadiums. I realize these places aren't meant to last forever, but 20 years seems barely used. I can't find it now, of course, but I thought I remember when Enron Field (now Minute Made Park) went up, they had said it had a shelf life of 30 years. At the time that seemed reasonable, but I couldn't imagine tearing it down in 10 years because it's old.
