I will be releasing my projections on a team-by-team basis, as I complete them. I will then post analysis here for discussion.
My Bengals' Projections: http://www.phenomsff.com/projections/teams/cin.html
Until I figure out a way to post a viewer friendly version, you'll have to visit the link.
Key players:
Palmer: 329/525/62.7% for 4000/29 with 36 rushing yds
Rudi: 351/1422/14 and 22/121
Chad: 93/1386/10
TJ: 92/1132/10
Analysis:
Only change from last year is Henry's suspension. The schedule is favorable for the offense in my opinion, with games vs. the NFC West (which I see as a lot of O and little D) as well as TEN, BUF, CLE twice.
One hopeful improvement from last year will be the O-line play. Injuries at center caused problems, such as Rudi's low YPC. I believe the Bengals were on their 3rd string center at times, which isn't good.
With Henry out, I think TJ and Chad will see slight bumps in targets, catches, and TDs. Nothing drastic, but a little boost.
The non-key players on this squad will contribute, but not enough to really care about. Tab Perry and Chatman fight for the scraps at WR, while the two Kennys (Watson and Irons) fight for the RB scraps. I'm writing off Chris Perry entirely at this point. Chris Henry's numbers are obviously just 8 games played.
I love the Bengals' late schedule, with STL, @SF, and CLE in weeks 14 to 16.
