I'll start off by posting my projections to get us going. The idea is for others to post their own projections as well, or to comment on the projections posted by others.

I'm a lot lower than most people on Marion Barber.

Felix Jones for his career has 146 carries and 21 receptions in 20 games.

Assuming he can somehow withstand 250 touches.....when he has 167 in his career is interesting.

I don't think it's far-fetched at all.

Felix Jones' highest carry season in college or the NFL is 154(sophomore year at Arkansas). Highest reception season in college or NFL 19(last year with the Cowboys).

:hifive: We'll see how you feel after the season.

Those Marion Barber numbers...way off.

Tune in at the end of the season.

I am not saying he is a stud by any stretch. But to think he is going to be phased out like that is foolish. I think you will see him used like he was 2 years ago in the JJ/Barber days.

He is the closer again and will get a ton of goaline looks. Felix Jones has not proven he can stay healthy. Barber has been hurt too...but he has played through his injuries.

Jones 150 carries 825 yards 6 TD's 24 receptions 192 yards 3 TD's

Barber 170 carries 720 Yards 10 TD's 15 receptions 110 Yards 1 TD

Choice 60 carries 240 Yards 2 TD's 8 receptions 40 yards 0 TD

This is based on all backs being healthy all year. There is no reason tothink Dallas can't rush for 1785 yards as a team with that lineup.

You know i'm not a fan of him or Spiller. But how can yall think he can handle a big time workload of carries, when his NFL or college career high is 154???

He wasn't the bell cow in college because he shared backfield duties with DMC. Just because he hasn't doesn't mean he can't or won't.

This has not hurt Willie Parker, Priest Holmes or Pierre Thomas........

And Tim Tebow hasn't thrown for 4,000 yards in a season either.....but that doesn't mean it won't happen. At some point people need to realize that his best place is in a committee where he can bounce everything outside and stay fresh and healthy. Felix is like a delicate flower.....looks good for part of the year....try to get more use out of it than that and it withers away b/c he is fragile.
