at 1st glance...............

pretty good choice of selections mr tremblay......i do think based on expectations and seeing hawkins....i would likely flip-flop those numbers with williams...the team has high expectations for him and reinfeldt is already claiming he could see him as a #1...could see him with a britt type year with 30 catches or so....

i do think vince's numbers are pretty accurate and he takes another step forward this year......

i think johnson will have more tds but less carries

i think lagarrette blount makes the team and pearman gets cut.......ringer will be the #2 back but i think he will have at least 20 more carries

the team will lean heavily on the running game as always with fisher...especially with the best rb in the league and one of the best lines

more later :P

i really like the Vince Young numbers. I like his development, and him and CJ feed off each other - the safeties must hate playing the titans trying to deal with CJ, Vince's running, and his improved passing.

However I'm wondering if the CJ carries are a bit too high.... how many carries did he get last year just for the sake of boosting him over 2k yards? without a doubt week 17 (36), and probably some of weeks 13, 14, and 15 (27, 28, 29). I'm thinking that with the addition of Blount/Johnson, and the development of Javon Ringer, Fisher will aim to keep CJ closer to 300 than the 358 he had last year.

also i think you might have CJ's YPC too low. 4.75? that would be worse than even his rookie year. Consider this (and let me know if you think i'm messing with the numbers too much).... CJ's season can be broken down into two halves. Before the bye, he played with Collins, and after the bye, with VYoung.

in the first half of the season, weeks 1 thru 6, he had some of his worst games of the year. 34 yards vs. Indy, 57 vs. Pitt, 83 vs. Jax, and 97 vs. the Jets. In contrast, he went over 100 yards in every game after the bye playing with Young.

In those first 6 games, there is 1 outlier vs. the Texans (16 for 197). I'm going to throw that game out (yes, yes, i know, i know...). In the first 6 games excluding that outlier, he averaged 5 per tote.

In weeks 8 thru 17, he CJ had 263 carries for 1,400 yards.... 5.4 ypc.... and thats when the defense know what was coming, when the season was lost and Fisher was just going to feed him the ball to get him over 2K. Thus, Young has a positive benefit on CJ's average that Collins just didn't.

In short.... you should consider dropping his carries, and increasing his average.

Jared Cook is a the big dark horse here.

45 Receptions 540 yards 6 TD's

He get's on the radar this season and year 3 he becomes a serious stud.

I don't completely disagree but don't forget White was traded and while I like Ringer I don't think he's as good a short distance back. It's entirely possible CJ gets more 3rd and short carries than last year. Granted, White only had 64 carries so it's not like they're losing part of a RBBC. I agree with 300 carries being optimal, and I'm guessing about a 5 flat ypc for 1500 yards.

whatever happened to Justin Gage? I always thought he looked good when he had the opportunity... is he injured?
