Teddy Lehman (1 Viewer)

Lehman is closer to returning. Deep leagues might want to look at rostering him before he comes off the PUP although, he will likely take over at strong side from Lenon.

An update on Lehman as it appears he has been taken off the PUP and should practice this week.
Linebacker Teddy Lehman and wide receiver Scottie Vines were both taken off the physically unable to perform list and are expected to practice this week.

NFway - they can't seriously plug him into the middle this quickly, can they?

According to Marinelli they plan to..

Like Lehman, Lewis would provide speed against Vick, but he didn't sound as confident about his availability. After a strong rookie season, Lewis has only made it through an entire game once in the past two years, and has been out with a sprained knee since mid-September."We're going to have to wait and see," he said. "The bye was very important because we got the swelling out of it. It's getting close."With Lehman and Lewis inching toward the active roster, coach Rod Marinelli will shift around the entire linebacking corps. Boss Bailey, who has been starting at middle linebacker, will shift to the outside in a rotation with Lewis and Ernie Sims, while Paris Lenon and Lehman will move inside."Boss will play the strong side. That's more of a natural position for him," Marinelli said

In 2004 Lehman was drafted in the 2nd round and had 97 tackles (73 solo) with 1 sack and an INT in 16 games. He played only 5 games last year with 13 tackles and 1 INT. The question is back at the end of 2004 where were owners projecting Lehman for future numbers at MLB with the Lions?

I have a feeling this is going to turn into a FF nightmare for anyone that is counting on a LB from the Lions. This situation is looking like Cinci's more and more. Going from not much depth, to having a little too much in a short time. They are already talking about rotations for every position, including giving Sims rests to keep him "fresh". Now I dont know what you guys think about this, but almost every situation that has to do with putting in rotations for almost any defensive position, doesn't help them in the fantasy world. The occasional talented defensive lineman, maybe. But, I just dont' see this as a good thing for LB's or DB's for that matter. It becomes a crap shoot as to who is going to have a solid game, killing consistancy.

Who was the biggest producer this week in the Cinci game (besides J.Smith)? Caleb Miller, who wasnt even penciled in as the starter. This just isn't looking too good to me.

Linebacker Teddy Lehman is ready to play his first game in more than a year. He has been out since suffering a sprained right foot against Chicago in Game 7 of last season. Lehman is expected to be put on the active roster today and play in the middle Sunday behind Paris Lenon . "I'm just trying to get back in the groove," Lehman said. "It's been so long since I've been out there. I'm trying to get used to being back on the field."
