I am a bit of a hoarder. I tend to keep things far beyond their need/value.

I have purchased two TVs within the past year, and while cleaning out a storage room in my basement, I came across the stands. Since I have wall mounted the TV, is there any need to keep the stand? I far prefer wall mounts, and don't expect to ever put them down, until I need to replace them.

Is this something that if I tossed, I could go to a manufacturer (Vizio and Samsung) and get a replacement?

My mancave TV is wall mounted. Kept the stand and glad I did. Recently replaced it with a bigger/better TV so needed the stand to store the old TV until I do something with it. I would think you could find a stand later but no idea how long manufacturers have parts on hand if a model is discontinued.
