Terrell Suggs (1 Viewer)

What's the risk Suggs changes position listing in MFL this year?
I would say slim to none, especially since MFL has already posted their first set of positional changes. In my opinion, the only way Suggs gets moved to LB by MFL is if the Ravens make significant changes to how they run their defense.

the odds are 0 percent chance

he pleaded his case years ago during a franchise tag squabble over what position he should receive the "average of the highest five paid" ... either LB or DE

of course he argued DE for the higher salary

matter o fact i BELIEVE it was a neutral party that ruled he was a DE, i also seem to remember the discussion mentioning how often he starts a play with his hands down right off the OT

no way the NFL is gonna overturn a neutral party ruling for in their mind what amounts to meaningless semantics

no way BALT after being ruled upon will ever post him as a LB on any depth chart

The larger question is, when are they going to change Kiwanuka to LB (if they are).

I have him as one of my key DEs in a league this season, so that change would hurt me a LOT. Would love to move him, but nobody is taking.

It depends on where your leagues are hosted. I know mfl will be moving him to LB whenever they do their next set of moves. They follow Rotoworld's depth chart and they already have Kiwanuka listed as a LB.

Suggs is listed as an OLB here: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/People/Player_Roster.aspx
Financially, it is in Baltimore's best interest to list him and perceive him as a LB rather than a DE. There is a significant difference between a OLB and DE salary in the NFL. Baltimore attempted to franchise Suggs as a LB which would have been much cheaper than a DE, but Suggs and agent fought back and ended up agreeing with a LB/DE hybrid classification for the franchise tag.

So, yesterday's game they flagged Dalton for intentional grounding with 46 seconds left in the fourth. He was in the grasp of Suggs. I thought this counted as a sack but Suggs didn't get one. Anyone know if this might happen?
