Texans at Chargers Monday Night Game Thread (1 Viewer)

WOW.....thought they got that off. They never call that quite that tight

Looked like a catch to me. JJ Watt with an almost sack but Rivers got rid of it as he was ankle tackled.

Well if anyone is laying in bed watching before they go to sleep, good luck. You're either already fast asleep or nearly there.

Impressive drive....but did ANYONE predict Royal to lead the Chargers in receptions?

Did anyone predict Royal to be even third on the team in catches?

Im sorry guys, I left before hammering in that last nail in Eddie Royal's coffin 2 years ago. The wood must have been cheap.

The yellow soles of some Charger's shoes makes me keep thinking there's a flag on every play. :bag:

Funny how everyone is ripping on Berman in here. I cant stand him, but I much prefer this boring Berman to annoying Berman.

Schaub looking good this drive so far (knocks wood.) Lots of pressure but making the throws. Where was that late last year?

All Pro Duane Brown didn't do a good job blocking on that 3rd down run, Foster short by inches.

Big sack on 3rd and 2. Hou Def finally shows up. Ironically right after Berman and crew spent a few minutes bashing them.

That was a weird cyclical argument on Watt where they both took both sides of the argument.

Ahem:

Eddie Royal could have some deep sleeper potential as the slot guy if he stays healthy.
Disagree. He will almost certainly be behind (in no particular order) Gates, Floyd, Alexander, Brown, Allen, and Woodhead in targets. And maybe also behind Mathews. If he is behind 6-7 guys, how much of a deep sleeper could he be?
He'll be the starting slot receiver in an offense that will throw the ball short more often, on a team with an injury risk at WR1, an injury risk at WR2, an injury risk at TE, and other unknowns. I'm just saying that if he's the guy that happens to stay healthy, he could benefit.
I seriously doubt Royal will be the starting slot receiver. He's not even a lock to make the team. If he does, I don't think he will get starter snaps.

Hopkins sighting. Bubble screen and he runs right into the arms of a waiting defensive lineman.

AJ is soooo ####### smoooth.
