Texans at Lions (1 Viewer)

I liked Broyles 100 times better than young anyways. Better football player

I have tried...really hard...to figure out what people see in Stafford.

Has always struck me as a decent, but hardly spectacular NFL QB. Misses too many open WRs, at this point I'm convinced his FF value is built on opportunities more than talent.

This is generally true, although this year his throwing mechanics have been all messed up relative to last year. I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities today to see his fadeaway, off the back foot sidearm. Overall he appears pretty average to me -- strong arm, but below-average accuracy and Calvin Johnson picks him up a lot.But when you're on pace to throw the ball 683 times, even an average QB will rack up decent fantasy points (well, unless you want TD's...)!

1 carry for Foster in two drives...The Texans are trying to get cute
Not really. They normally use the pass heavily early on to set up the run. Kubiak uses some scripted early plays that are used to determine early how the opponent is defending various formations in the passing game.

look at that....Lions get screwed by a review. shocking. how is a ball clearly bouncing off a player's thigh inconclusive?

There was no shot that showed the ball touching Quin, but the ball reacting like it was touched by quin. difference.

Are you guys watching a different feed? I didn't see it conclusively at all. No stake in this game, but I guess I just didn't see whatever Detroit saw on that replay. Perhaps if they had a camera on the other side of the field, but from what I saw it wasn't clear at all.

for some reason stafford has looked really offthis year. im a fan but he just has been looking average...not really sure why though..

Texans got a gift from the refs. But then on 4th and 1 just inside Lions territory, decide to punt. Texans out of sorts today, although the D has picked it up.
