Texans at Patriots (1 Viewer)

Patriots scored 557 points. I don't know how the Texans stop them. The Texans will need to score at least 30 to win.

My keys to the game:Pats get up by 10 early and it becomes a blowout.Texans need an early TO converted to a TD followed by another score to make their run game effective.Prediction: Pats 37 Texans 17

Going to be the least competitive game of the weekend.
I don't see this being much of a game, but then again most people didn't think Den-Mal would be. So far, only the GB game was not really competitive. I think the score made it seem closer than it felt. Love to see Hou pull an upset.

Are there any NFL announcers worth listening to anymore. Can't stand Buck, Nantz, Simms.I loved Gus Johnson and he jumped ship with Erin :thumbdown:Edited for ####ty english.

I am hoping Houston can do something today....but I feel more confident in Brady starting from his own 20 than I did with Schaub starting from the Pat 12. that is just wrong.

Really three missed plays1)Great return by Manning, but needed a another gear.2) Casey dropped pass sure Td3) Schuab missing an open Johnosnneeded to convert that Td there

Could we please ban Phil Simms, this guy is by far the worst commentator in sports.
You misspelled "best"...
You must have been a big Giants fan in the 80s. He's just awful, no insight, says the same thing all the time, I'll watch because it's the playoffs but otherwise I turn the channel.
Every game someone is commenting about the announcers and how bad they are. I guess I am in the minority that I really don't have too much a preference between them all.

One of the things I love about him, as pointed out by the great Phil Mushnick:
Phil Simms, as heard during CBS’s Colts-Ravens, yesterday, remains the only NFL analyst who regularly uses replays to correct himself rather than to affirm his original, wrong call. ...
But besides that, he's solid. He knows the game inside and out, he lets the broadcast breathe and he doesn't try to show us how smart he is all the time. Guys like Mike Mayock and Moose Johnston NEVER shut up from the analyst's chair.

I like Simms more than Aikman.
Aikman is dreadful. Someone PM me when he tells us something we didn't already know.

Yeah, seems like one of those things everyone loves to hate on. It has just become an easy target. I don't know any color commentator that I really enjoy much. I love me some Gus Johnson but I understand he can rub people the wrong way.

Patriots bench telling us that Danny Woodhead with a left thumb injury. Which translated means Rob Gronkowski has a right foot injury.
