Texans @ Saints Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Schaub, A.J., O. Daniels and the Texans' run game all look good on first drive.

Saints' first-team D looks helpless for second straight game.

 
Ivory makes a tough run, but fumbles stretching for more yardage. Can't help his chance of making the team. Ivory got smacked in the head pretty hard.

 
Schaub is hitting a lot of receivers. Andre, Daniels, Lestar Jean, Garrett Graham, James Casey and Keyshawn Martin all have a reception.

 
Trindon Holiday brings out the kickoff from 7 yeards deep, fumbles and the Saints (Junior Gallette) run it in for a score.

Holliday had probably played himself onto the team if he just doesn't mess up the last 2 games. And so... he messes up.

On the kickers, yes, kicking battle with Graham. Graham has been kicking off deeper than Bullock so far. Bullock hit a 51 yarder I believe, Graham hit one just under 50, and then Bullock missed from... 53 I think.

Keyshawn Martin on short dump-off pass...turns up the middle and loses the ball when trying to get extra yardage.

i know nothing about this except that bullock was drafted in the 5th round so i expect that he'll be the starter if only to save face from the front office.

I think if it's even Bullock will get it because he's younger. I don't think they'll keep a player they feel is going to be worse though.
 
So watching the right side of the Texans line... the right guards have played pretty well. Right tackle a little more of a question mark. Most plays Schaub had time to throw, but both Newton and Butler have given up pressure and taken penalties as a result, so don't know that either differentiated himself in the 1st quarter.
