Buzz on local sports radio today is that RB Chris Brown will be traded to the Texans.

That was my first thought but I never ever get these right. The cut of Chris Taylor makes no sense unless the Texans are looking to acquire Dayne or someone else ...
Is Brown a 1 cut and go running back?Does he fit the texans running style? Not that i remember seeing.Whats so hard to believe that Chris Brown might be traded to Houston? It actually makes sense.
Since when does it make sense to trade a serviceable RB to a divisional rival?Whats so hard to believe that Chris Brown might be traded to Houston? It actually makes sense.
to the injury reportLee Sugss is a one cut RB .

It's stuff like this that makes me come to this board over all others.Of course this information is not final or anything, but here in Knoxville, TN I don't get radio talk about Texans football. I appreciate it Oldfootbal. Let us know if you find out anything else.Buzz on local sports radio today is that RB Chris Brown will be traded to the Texans.
Same can be said for Brownto the injury reportLee Sugss is a one cut RB .

Chris Taylor will most likely clear waivers and be placed on the practice squad. He is a good long-term play. I have recommended that he should be stashed deep on somebody's dynasty squad or worth a late round (20th) flyer if he made the 50 man roster. Not sure where you got "the second coming of DD".Bristol said:Hey Oldfootball...What happended to this guy being the second coming of DD? What happended to this guy being Kubiak's "favorite"? Admit that were are wrong and avoid the embarassment.
Makes him a no cut RB.wannabee said:to the injury reportTraders2001 said:Lee Sugss is a one cut RB .
In my ideal world, your posting priviledges would be suspended for this, and this post would be pinned to the top of the Shark Pool as an example of what not to do.Just last night, "oldfootball" was arguing with me and telling me that Chris Taylor would start for the Texans at some point. In fact, he made this claim on numerous threads. Funny that he would have the nerve to even post this and not even mention that he was DEAD WRONG!!!!
Davenport could not even make the Packers ( and it s not like they have decent RBs Green is finished and Gado is Gado worthless ) and he could not beat those guys .As a RB 3 i would bring him in , but not to compete as a starter .Another name just brought up on local tv was N.Davenport.
I'm late to the party so this is probably old news here, but Suggs was claimed by Miami.Traders2001 said:Lee Sugss is a one cut RB .
If that didn't do it, I'm sure giving the oldIn my ideal world, your posting priviledges would be suspended for this, and this post would be pinned to the top of the Shark Pool as an example of what not to do.Just last night, "oldfootball" was arguing with me and telling me that Chris Taylor would start for the Texans at some point. I think he would be given every chance to be the guy. I don't know hwo he would fit into one cut and go style of running. On the flip side if this trade happened how would it impact Lendale White and Travis Henry ?Since we are talking "fantasy" football, if this "fantasy" trade were to occur how would it affect Chris Brown's value?
Well, I'm not going to pin it.In my ideal world, your posting priviledges would be suspended for this, and this post would be pinned to the top of the Shark Pool as an example of what not to do.Just last night, "oldfootball" was arguing with me and telling me that Chris Taylor would start for the Texans at some point. Yeah, I'd like to hear something.Tell me more about this Chris Taylor character...
Im confused. From RW....Texans may give undrafted rookie back a chanceChris Taylor - RB - HOU - Nov. 27 - 7:33 pm etTexans coach Gary Kubiak said Monday that practice squad running back Chris Taylor is likely to get a chance at carries down the stretch. With nothing working in Houston's backfield at this point, Taylor has an opportunity for a significant role, ala Wali Lundy earlier this year. We'd put in a waiver claim for Taylor, an undrafted rookie and favorite of coach Kubiak, in deep and dynasty leagues.
He was cut, but subsequently signed to the practice squad. Based on the Kubiak quote, he may get some PT down the stretch, although as noted in another thread, he won't be activitated this week.Im confused. I thought earlier in the thread it said something about him being released and the Texans going with 2 RBs.....?
Opinion: I think if DD is healthy he's the starter and the other guys just spell him. The "if he's healthy" is the big questionmark to me.So is D. Davis done in Houston? Or will this be yet, still another RBBC for next year between Lundy, Brown, and Davis? :X
Absent a VERY strong performance by one of Lundy, Gado or Taylor, my guess is that there will be a new RB sheriff in town next year. Davis may be brought back to compete if healthy, but it will likely be well into the offseason before they know that. I imagine team brass will thus address the situation in FA or via the rookie draft. So is D. Davis done in Houston? Or will this be yet, still another RBBC for next year between Lundy, Brown, and Davis? :X
Can anyone think of another RB who missed an entire year of football to a degenerative knee condition (as opposed to a single acute injury) and returned to any kind of success? I've got to think that DD's not got much left to contribute on the field.Opinion: I think if DD is healthy he's the starter and the other guys just spell him. Deshaun Foster would be the guy who comes to mind as having had the most success with such a condition, though he hasn't ever lived up to the potential that was seen for him.I agree I wouldn't bank on DD. But I think it's probably he's either not in the mix (or on the team), or he's the starter. I've got him stashed on IR in a keeper league but am relatively sure I'll cut him if I can't find someone willing to trade for him (unlikely). Can anyone think of another RB who missed an entire year of football to a degenerative knee condition (as opposed to a single acute injury) and returned to any kind of success?
