Joe asked me to join the staff with the expectation that I'd update my dynasty rankings at least once a month, preferably every 2-3 weeks. Several of us are on a rotational schedule, and Tefertiller has an automatic reminder email sent to each of us every other week.
Joe took the message board unhappiness with lack of updated dynasty rankings seriously and took action. I think you can generally count on at least two new sets of rankings from staff each week throughout the season.
