Why would it be all over the place the last day? The article is from 2020. Legitimately confused; what am I missing here?
2020 is when the protests were at their most extreme. The anger was understandable but some people went too far at the time, obviously. But that’s all died down now. I have no idea why an incident from two years ago would make you want to arm yourself now. Are you really that frightened of BLM people? I know several of them. They’re not going to hurt you.

The interesting political "red ball" will be when looting, burning and rioting happens again and if you had 50 store owners in a line opening fire on rioters. It's one thing to persecute one shop keeper with wokeism, it's another when you have what appears to be an entire community apt to openly rebel because they were functionally abandoned to career criminals.
That would almost guarantee the spigot of small dollar donations will die immediately.
The big problem will be snipers. Eventually someone will figure out that the best methodology towards vigilantism will be long range take downs. How will the media cover 25 looters getting cashed out while looting and running down the street. How do you denounce that? How do you not?
Violence will shift into more hit and run ambushes as a political means to an end. It's a sad and scary thought. But tragically I believe the world will go in this direction.

We do. You been in a cave the last decade? As long as your side continues the behavior we've witnessed not only in the article rock linked, but also how we've seen them burn down cities, loot businesses, take over city blocks, assault and murder people in the streets then, yes, more guns is actually the answer.
This is a result of the Democrats and left moving further and further under the Socialism umbrella (which includes Marxism and Communism).

They were protesting some police shooting of a black man and came into the restaurant to ask patrons to show solidarity by raising their fists and she refused to do so.
That said this was a one-off incident that to my knowledge never happened before and hasn't happened since or at least I don't recall any other instance of white BLM advocates bullying other whites. RA must be really desperate to find something to be outraged about to dredge up this 2 year old article.

I didn't say I'd do anything with it. I'd be rather placid in the face of that mob, though, that's for sure.

However, if she WOULD have pulled a gun out she would have been well within her rights to use it. She had no avenue of escape as they had her cornered. It is reasonable to assume that she could have felt threatened with her life (mob mentality and all that). That's the very definition of self defense.
